Tremendous, we visited today and the service was excellent. The don welcomed us with the kind of kindness that Puerto Ricans are known for. The fresh and delicious fritters, blood sausages, potato fillings, empanadas, everything. I also got my dough and pork pies here. I couldn't wait to get home to boil a joint. They are very rich, full of meat from end to end, very plump. Of all the money I spent today, those cakes were my best purchase. I plan to return. And those who live in Lorain who don't know about the Mofongo house, what are they waiting for?

I was passing by and knew I had to stop before heading to Michigan even tho the owner was the only one working the food and service was excellent definitely will be back if your in the area, passing by or just looking for some authentic puerto Rican food this is definitely your spot

We were passing through and we stopped to eat at this location. No lie food was amazing, there was only one employee/maybe owner doing everything/multitasking but he was super nice and friendly even tho he was extremely busy. Again the food was really good and the prices were decent ?.

A quaint spot where the owner/chef/server was amazing! Not only did he do all those things, but he also made time to talk with my whole family. The food was incredible. It brought me back to my abuela's cooking. Authentic Puerto Rican cooking! ?? The servings were incredible for the price. I ate the mofongo with Carne frita. Amazing. All the food was amazing.

Parking: You will have to park on the public street.
