“Great for what it is, reminded me and my wife of an old time neighborhood bar. Very chilled and laid back. Had a group playing dungeons and dragons and we were invited to stay and watch. Mixed crowd and everyone was just hanging. Cook and bartender were very friendly. Small menu but we enjoyed our food and the pilsner beer was great. look forward to going back again soon.”
“Huge place, more of a hall. We only go for the fish fry during Lent, and it's always packed. Bar service was a bit slow, but with the crowd, I guess it's a to be expected. They serve a large number of people, but do a good job getting everyone seated and served. and the fish is always really, really good.”
“First time going and everything was well done. The Pisco drinks were crafted perfectly and had great flavour. Walleye ceviche had tender pieces of fish with nice spice and clean citrus finish. Initially went in for a perch dinner and got tacos to go, I regretted not getting more tacos! Great place all around.”
“The food is excellent. Classic American done ‘Ohio style’. The bubba burger is highly recommended and I rarely eat hamburgers. Fried mushrooms come with ranch dressing which is a necessity IMO!This is a carry out only restaurant. It is best if you order ahead. There is parking in the rear of the building.”
“The menu is very small, the size of the place is very small, the number of staff working is very small; but, the experience is enormous. The menu is small so they can focus on what they do best.Don't walk into this place expecting your vegan brother/sister in law is going to find a lot that appeals to them, you are there because you don't care about them. They can graze in the empty lot across the street. They love selling cooked meat here. The entre menu:Beef (the burger)BeefBeef2 Flatbread choicesPasta (with or without meat/seafood)SeafoodTwo choices of sides (like 6 in total), none of them are "fancy", all are delicious. When it comes to booze, there is a really nice wine list, a decent liquor shelf and, an ok beer selection. Don't expect a martini menu; at the same time, you can ask the bartender/owner for something your speed and he will come up with something that suits your style.Service was outstanding, the proprietor was behind the bar and was obviously running the show; that dude wants you to remember your experience there. This place is old school cool and I appreciate that All Nations Clubs are remembered here. This place isn't cheap, this place definitely isn't fancy; but, this place is very classy.Vegetarian options: SaladKid-friendliness: Keep your kids at homeWheelchair accessibility: This place is on a slab, most wheelchairs can get in, the restrooms might lack a bit.”
“I love Rosie’s pizza. I’ve been eating since I was growing up in Lorain in the 80s and 90s. Hands down my favorite pizza of all time. The recipe is so unique. You’ve just gotta try it!”
“I worked at the Mexican mutual in my early twenties for quite some time but I've been going in there with my dad since I was a little girl and I love everything about it and I love all the people half of them are my family. it's a great place for cheap drinks no riffraff and wonderful food.”
“I just moved here from Texas. The tacos were delicious and just like home I was hoping to find caramelized goat milk. But they didn't have it. If anyone knows where I can get some, please let me know.”
“We originally called Yala's only to find out they have thin-crust pizza, so we really wanted Eliseo's - which is now called Kate's. We ordered cheesy sticks and two pizzas. It was fun to pick up the pizza through the drive-thru window. On the phone, they told us the pizza would be "like Chicago pizza" with the toppings under the cheese. Once we got it home - it was good pizza - cheesy, good crust - but it's not anything like Chicago pizza at all. It's just regular hand-tossed pizza. We were surprised when they asked us what sauce we wanted for the cheesy sticks (garlic butter) that it was just a cup of sauce to dip on the side. We're used to pizzerias what put the sauce on the crust and bake it in.”
“The place is sparkling clean! Waitress very friendly. I had the steak street tacos that came with refried beans and rice. Steak was so tender and flavourful, which came with a really hot sauce on the side but very good. There was no cheese or other toppings, I probably needed to ask for anything extra. Refried beans were the best I've had,and rice was also good. My husband had the steak chimichangas, which were deep fried and then covered with a queso cheese sauce served with toppings on the side, which were lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and guacamole. His dinner also came with refried beans and rice. He said that his food was excellent. Salsa and chips were also good and brought out to your table while you are waiting for your dinner. We will be going back!”
“Literally you can make my pizza and my beloved cheesy bread perfect one more time and you’re going to be put In the hall of fame. I won’t order anywhere else. Who keeps making my cheesy bread perfect so many times? I want to give you a tip: the past two times was worth heaven. But the other times have all been 200 times better than the other ones. Who is doing this? I need to know. I freaking love how you do the cheesy bread there. Also pizza is a ten here”
