Papasitos and Beer Mexican Grill

A great place or pizza, burgers, wings, fries, amazing sandwiches, and even Middle Eastern options 😋

Our server was attentive. The food presentation was delightful. Initially, I received just 1 taco after ordering the 3 crunchy taco plate. I’m unsure how that mix up happened.

The ground beef tacos were seasoned but over-powered by salt. My wife who ordered the steak quesadilla stated the cheese sauce and the steak were salty as well. In addition, veggies were undercooked. Her strawberry margarita had no hint of tequila (not even low-shelf) according to her.

The patio view overlooking the lake became unpleasant due to a smoking patron. According to ORC 3794.03, “All outdoor patios shall be physically separated from an enclosed area. If windows or doors form any part of the partition between an enclosed area and the outdoor patio, the openings shall be closed to prevent the migration of smoke into the enclosed area…”. The door to the patio and enclosed was propped open allowing patrons & employees to pass through freely. So, the aforementioned is not a true violation the Smoke-Free Ohio Act is did toe the line.

Overall, the castle aesthetics are way cool to view but, for us, that was about it. We were curious to taste the offerings but left disappointed. We won’t be back.

It was bring your kids to work day when I visited. Usually doesn’t bother me or my family but recently we came on a not so busy Saturday night and the workers children were screaming, throwing stuff, running (and face planting) right next to our table all night long when we just wanted to eat peacefully. People actually walked out of the restaurant it was really loud and unpleasant. Papasitos is a twin restaurant so avoid its sister establishments too unless you find screaming endearing

Food was good . Missing a lot of authentic items that were not on the menu 😕

The worst part of my experience was they charge a 6.5% tax on the total check after they give you the original bill. Taxing food is crazy??

I sat on the patio, looking out of Lake Erie. Loved the guacamole & shrimp cocktail with a skinny margarita !

The food was really good but after our waiter brought us our food he disappeared. My wife could see him sitting at a table in the back on his phone. I had to go to the hostess to get boxes and our check. It wasn't busy either. We sat there 20 minutes waiting. So I had enough and went to hostess who was very prompt.

Foods good! Only problem we keep having is the waiters don't write down the orders and they keep bring beef instead of chicken so we keep having to send our orders back and wait a little longer

Was greatly disappointed.. the food was mediocre, the salsa tasted like it was store bought vs home made, and $3.50 for a soda is crazy! And the biggest reason I won’t be coming back is the 3% surcharge for paying with a card.. that is a cost of running a business don’t put that on customers especially after you order and aren’t told about that surcharge until you get the check!!

They stayed open extra late to accommodate us! By the way, the food and margaritas here are the best. Great atmosphere and great view. All around great place to go😎 Thank you guys for the experience.

I had car repairs being done out in Lorain while also having a virtual seminar to attention. Papasitos was more than accommodating to my needs. Between being able to charge my laptop out on the patio while attending the summit looking out over the lake. To the amazing food and top tier service. This restaurant experience was above and beyond! Thank you for providing excellent service!

This places has always been amazing food when I went and the server was on top of our drinks and making sure everything was good!!
