My family and I walked in around 3:45 PM on a Saturday, there were 2 people sitting at the bar with drinks and the hours posted on google and on the door said 11 AM -12 AM. Someone came out to let us know they didn’t open until 4 pm, but we could sit and wait for their waitress to arrive. It was odd since the doors were unlocked, people were at the bar, and their hours posted don’t reflect this time change. Our waitress arrived to work shortly after and took care of us right away. She was great and provided great service. However, the food was very overpriced for what you receive. We ordered the spinach and artichoke appetizer which was about $14 and was served in a small bowl. It was primarily just a bunch of cream cheese with some spinach and artichoke thrown in, you didn’t need more of it since it was so rich but it should not have cost as much as it did.I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap and it was the driest wrap I’ve ever had. I think they forgot to add any of the dressing, I should’ve said something but I was ready to leave. That cost me $16 and was completely underwhelming. They also were out of sausage for my MIL’s flatbread, which they didn’t tell her until they served it to her without the sausage. I thought they should’ve told her beforehand to see if she still wanted it. The waitress did say she’d take a few dollars off, but we were not impressed.Lastly, my daughters kid Mac n cheese was $10 and was a pretty small serving. I’ve never seen kids menu items be so expensive for the serving we got.The atmosphere was nice inside, but the experience was odd and way more expensive than we expected. I know costs have gone up, but the price of their menu vs the quality is why we won’t be returning.

Not the greatest choices of menu items. Expensive for the quality that you get. Rude bartenders.
Great service! Just got drinks! Nice place!

Not organized- no personality. No apologies for long waits- we had to ask for napkins- ask for refills of water- I helped our table by taking condiments from a table that people were done with. Second bad experience- Done! Other places are far better.
I had the BEST fish sandwich I've ever had at this place the other day. And I've grown up fishing and eating from lake Erie my entire life. The walleye sandwich will have you rocking about it says later like I am now. I guarantee it!!!

Great as always! Staff is attentive and food is always great.
Usually, when 1 thing goes wrong, I don’t bother to give a poor review, but many things went wrong. 3 weeks ago, my friend and I decided to dine here. We sat for 10 min. before being acknowledged while a table that was seated after us, was helped. The first cocktails took 10 min. to be served, but my friend forgot to request light on the ice, for health reasons. Upon our 2nd order, another 10 min., she asked the server for no ice in her bloody Mary. Her drink arrived in a highball glass, half filled with the cocktail, with olives on a toothpick, straddling the top of the glass. I was stunned. I asked the server what was going on and she said that the bartender had forgotten to hold the ice. the server took it upon herself to strain the drink. There are so many things wrong with this. A competent server might have put the drink in a smaller rocks glass and brought some ice on the side. Poor training. For food, I ordered a ribeye, medium rare, costing $40. I know prices are higher now, as I am a seasoned diner. The steak was completely over cooked and a terrible piece of meat as well. Complaining at this point would’ve had my friend dining alone while I wait for another meal. The whole evening was stunningly poor.

Excellent meal, we both ate the walleye which was tasty, piping hot with a nice crisp breading. Also had the jalapeño poppers which had a nice little bite, the peppers could have been a bit more cooked but overall had a good taste. I had a Rhinegeist Truth from the the bar and my husband had a Wiedemann’s which he wasn’t that fond of so the waitress promptly replaced with something else for him. Service was excellent and during the warmer months this seems like a pretty fun place to be near Lake Erie and the Black River. Glad to see that Lorain is reviving the waterfront.
Beer choices were great! The Jabacon Me Crazy burgers were excellent! Beef and bacon had killer flavor and were cooked perfectly. Tator tots were crispy and hot. The firecracker shrimp was good, but a minor ding for bringing bagged slaw and carrots with the shrimp. The service and view of the marina made for a very enjoyable and memorable lunch!
I have never left a review before in my life. But I had to let people know about the service my family and I received this evening. Not only have pre paying for a clam bake did we not receive the clams, but instead they opted to give us 2 lobster tails that were not cleaned properly. My grandmother ordered sangria and there was literally nothing but juice in the cup with maybe a dash of wine. While waiting for this solution we watched 2 other diners leave because the food was not prepared properly. Then while we were eating we noticed everything kind of had a plastic texture like it had been sitting in heat warmers all day. When we brought it up to the waitress she attempted to justify the situation however the manager denied covering the macaroni and cheese which tasted like it had been in water all day long. The only solution given to us at the end was waiving the lobster tails which once again were to replace the clams that they claimed were to spoiled to sell. I hope everyone who ate them today is okay since they were to spoiled for us to eat.
What a great time! My husband and I were greeted and seated right away. Jenna was our server and was a blast for our first time visit! We had some cocktails and picked a variety of appetizers for our lunch. Calamari, wings, poppers and firecracker shrimp. All was great, would skip the calamari next time. The atmosphere was awesome and outdoor seating was inviting!
