The Original Steaks and Hoagies - Lorain

I wasn’t going to come in because of the reviews but I’m glad I didn’t let them stop me, we ordered the ultimate and the whiz cheesesteak & fries and they were both soooooo good omg we will definitely be back! The person working the front was helpful and nice, I couldn’t even finish the whole sandwich I was full off the first half!

I've ordered from here multiple times now. The food is flavorful and filling portions. The lunch combo is what I normally get. It's a good value. The menu has plenty of options. The staff is alright and could be more friendly. Would be a good spot to sit in. The place is clean, bright, and nicely decorated.

This food made me very sick 30 minutes after I ate it. BUYER BEWARE. I had a regular Philly cheesesteak with provolone cheese. Now I'm miserable. Don't do it, there's other things to eat in the area that won't make you sick.

Very horrible , dude had some type of attitude about being at work worst customer service I have ever experienced. Acted annoyed when taking my order . Mean to other customers because he got the customers order wrong which we all heard him put in very nasty and passive aggressive. Felt so horrible for the guy who had to deal with that

So today for a work lunch we ordered from Original steaks and hoagies in Lorain. First of all the food is never even close to being ready at the time they say. Second of all the guy working there was extremely rude. Got there 15 minutes after the time given and he comes out and all he said was sit down. I waited another minutes or so before he brought the bags out. He dropped them on the counter and all he said was here. I told him to have a day and got no reply. When I got back to work one of the sandwiches was completely wrong and they shorted us an order of loaded tater tots. It took 4 times calling and getting hung up on to finally talk to someone. Very rude on the phone. When me and one of my coworkers finally got to sit down to eat both of our burgers were ice cold and raw in the middle. Definitely never going back there 😡

The place is very clean and the menu looks so good but the attitude of the guy running the place made me not want to come here ever again.. he seemed annoyed to have to work then disappeared after giving us out food when we needed a few things like silverware.. the food was okay but the mushrooms were canned and for $12 for a sandwich and $7 for a fry I expect fresh items and at least a smile.

Picked up an online order to which some dude came out rude as hell.(African American guy) no thank you have a great day. He literally TOLD me to take a seat and whenever it’s ready he’ll let me know. As a part time dasher that’s not how that works. You tell us EXACTLY HOW LONG. Time is money. If it’s gonna be 15 minutes I’m leaving. Without going back and checking him this was the best I could. And he could also focus on the job and not the weed. This was 7/9 at 8:30pm. Corporate has been notified. Hopefully his fake pee is on stand by. Losers.
