“While I have only had bakery items from Sarah’s, and haven’t had a chance to try their cafe (which I am hoping to try soon!), I can 100% say their baked goods are amazing! My personal favorite is when they bake seasonal cookies, including things like apple and pumpkin in the fall! Their homemade oatmeal cream pies are delish! And they have a pecan pie bar that is to die for!! Definitely look them up if you’re in Lucasville, Ohio!”

Highly recommend if you're in the area. The bill was a little over $70. But keep in mind that was the tab for four people.”

“Neat little mom and pop joint in the heart of Portsmouth. By the amount of cars in the parking lot as well as the many people streaming in and out with bagfuls of their burgers and such, I figured before even trying their food, it would be fantastic. I was right. The burgers were freshly made and love their tiny sliders wrapped in wax paper as well as their crispy and skinny fries. Will definitely be backl!”

“Visiting the Waverly location had became a weekly thing for my family. (ok, maybe 2 or 3x per week 🤣) The donuts are amazing and the flavors are always rotating. The donuts are great to take to my co-workers because the variety pleases everyone. Mountain tops, strawberry cheesecake, peanut butter, smores, or anything oreo can't miss! But get there early because they go FAST! Be sure to support this local business!”

I tried it by accident while driving through, and I'm very glad I did. The teriyaki sauce was the best I've had, and I've had quite a lot.

The fried rice had a flavor So addictive I needed another bowl with my meal. And although it may sound trivial, their iced tea was very tasty (some restaurants can actually screw up Tea)

Extremely moderate in price (prob'ly 'cuz it's Portsmouth) and very healthy portions. Now THAT'S a good mix.

Well worth your time if you find yourself on Route 23 going South into town.

My mother moved to Idaho 25 years ago and I sent these to her and she was so tickled she loved it and Heather your grandpa is dancing( to the jukebox that he refused to have in his bar lol) in heaven. Proud his granddaughter has carried on with his family legacy of running a successfully bar. So If anyone is on 23 in portsmouth ohio and around the area I highly recommend you to stop in and have a nightcap or even a water,soda maybe game of pool to wind down from your day you had.?? it's relaxing,calm,social,fun and laughter atmosphere that I believe Heather will be seeing more of my husband and I when we are not working ?
