“My favorite restaurant in South Shore, Kentucky! I loved eating there after I hadn't been home in 20 years.

Vegetarian options: I got a mushroom pizza with banana peppers and onion...was great!”

“A great little ice-cream shop. I didn't try the food but we were very happy with the service and the quality of the frozen treats. Between our group I think we tried a dozen different flavors or options. All of them were quality and a decent perforation without being too much.”

“Neat little mom and pop joint in the heart of Portsmouth. By the amount of cars in the parking lot as well as the many people streaming in and out with bagfuls of their burgers and such, I figured before even trying their food, it would be fantastic. I was right. The burgers were freshly made and love their tiny sliders wrapped in wax paper as well as their crispy and skinny fries. Will definitely be backl!”

“Great food and very friendly staff. I had the steak and chicken fajitas. They were very good, but way more than I could eat. They most definitely do not skimp out on the portions size. Highly recommend if you're in the area. The bill was a little over $70. But keep in mind that was the tab for four people.”

Parking: It's in a min mall type area but it has a large parking lot ,plenty of places to park. No worries there.”

“Stopped by Adam’s today and left with a huge smile!! After Doyle took my order Adam came to the window. We chatted a minute and I told him I loved his Reds hat. He ask me my name told me to have a wonderful day and even told me he loved me as I pulled away. Sure made my heart happy!! Oh and my Flying Pig Frozen Mocha was amazing as always.”

“This used to be a Denny's Diner but they worked hard at making it look more Mexican. They had buckets here and there because the town had been pummeled with rain and wind from hurricane Helen.
The food was good but I can't say excellent. Service and drinks were average.
As we were leaving there was a line waiting to get in. Looks like it's popular with the locals. It's wheelchair accessible.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are double doors but if you have some kind people to hold the doors you're good.”

“Local Italian restaurant with a solid menu with great choices. The good was amazing I had no complaints only praise for every menu item I sampled.
The staff was helpful and did a great job. The decor was comfortable and was inviting. The restrooms were clean and well maintained and all the furniture was intact and in good shape.

Parking: The restaurant is on the main street and I walked in amd did not drive, there may be limited parking on the street. So be aware.”

I tried it by accident while driving through, and I'm very glad I did. The teriyaki sauce was the best I've had, and I've had quite a lot.

The fried rice had a flavor So addictive I needed another bowl with my meal. And although it may sound trivial, their iced tea was very tasty (some restaurants can actually screw up Tea)

Extremely moderate in price (prob'ly 'cuz it's Portsmouth) and very healthy portions. Now THAT'S a good mix.

Well worth your time if you find yourself on Route 23 going South into town.
