I placed an order to pick up on my way home from work, (I work about an hour from my home). I ordered a fried shrimp dinner with broccoli and a side salad, and a chicken tender dinner with corn and fresh fruit. First of all, when I got home, I saw that I did not get a shrimp dinner, they had put in a fish dinner, (3 very small pieces of fish). The broccoli was overcooked and mushy. The chicken tenders (3 very skinny tenders) were overcooked as well. The fresh fruit was a few slices of brown bananas, a few slices of brown apples, and some blueberries. Such a disappointment! .

Subject: Rushed and Ruined Dinner - Avoid Bob Evans at [Location]!
We were trying to have a relaxing family dinner, not a fast-food drive-thru experience. The pressure was palpable. We felt rushed, stressed, and completely unwelcome. How can a restaurant expect patrons to make informed, enjoyable meal choices when they're being told the kitchen is practically shutting down around them?
The quality of the food, which is usually decent, suffered as a result. Everything felt thrown together, and the overall atmosphere was incredibly tense. It was clear the staff was more concerned with getting out the door than providing a pleasant dining experience.
If your cook is scheduled to leave at 9, either adjust your hours or find a way to manage the kitchen staff's schedule without impacting the customer experience. We left feeling completely disappointed and disrespected. I won’t be returning to this location, and I strongly advise others to avoid it if you value a relaxed and enjoyable meal.
Food delivered was warm

Country Fried Steak family meal and peanut butter pie. The food was absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection and very well packaged. Ready when they stated and awesome temperature. Would highly recommend this restaurant and this dinner and dessert.

The only reason for three stars is when I request hash brown potatoes it is so dark and hard I can’t enjoy or eat what I paid for. I have on occasion asked them to be cooked light to medium and they come back a little raw and on a greasy plate. We do enjoy having breakfast every week there. The service and atmosphere is great. Just wish they would learn how to cook hash brown potatoes correctly and wipe the grease off plates before serving.

Our server Angela had a bad attitude no matter how hard she tried to fake it.
She clearly got annoyed and let a huge annoyed sigh when we asked for kids menus for our niece and nephew. Slammed her tray down on the table behind us after she brought our drinks.
Brought our Cole slaw to us with our hot food when it should be delivered before the main course. Never asked or brought us refills. She brought my husband a left overs box but when I asked her for one it was like I was asking for too much. Sitting there waiting for our check and then I see she gave it to my 10 year old nephew. Asked her if she knew how the honey sauce tasted on the burger and said to I don’t eat burgers so I wouldn’t know but she said it as if I offended her for asking. If you serve food you should say good things about the product you serve! Had to ask the cashier for a to go cup and coffee. Felt completely unwelcome and uncomfortable in your supposed family restaurant. Should have went to IHOP down the street! I know when I worked at Bob Evans if I had treated my customers like garbage I would have been let go!
She was also rude to the people at the table behind us.

This was my second time trying BoB Evans and it's sad to say I didn't have a good experience. The waiter I had was probably mid 60's. I ordered a salad with some OJ my friend had breakfast. I was enjoying my meal when I discovered hair in my food. The waiter seemed to be waiting around watching me eat it but never came over after seeing I wasn't happy with my meal. I'm not one to call the race card but it's safe to say the waiter didn't like people of color. Even the front desk checkout guy was rude and not very polite.Thankfully the manager was very understanding and took the salad off my bill but I would have rather gotten a new salad made.
