Casa D'Angelo is a very pleasant and busy Italian restaurant, a go-to spot for many with a lot of regulars. The food is absolutely amazing, delicious, and great; everything tried is wonderful and definitely worth the stop. Specific dishes receive high praise: the Eggplant Parmesan is called the best in NE Ohio, the Chicken Palermo is very satisfying, and Grandma Shells is noted as a must. The penne pasta in garlic olive oil sauce is mildly flavored and goes great with the chicken. Portion sizes are often surprising and large, including the bread slices and salads, even the mini salad. The atmosphere is wonderful.
Service is generally great and staff are kind and attentive, though one experience noted a server who was not attentive, making diners feel like an inconvenience. For lunch, the Chicken Parmesan and other chicken dishes are considered pretty small for the price, while the Eggplant Parmesan and Lasagna are large lunch portions. The restaurant is a delightful place for a meal, perfect with some wine, and one that diners will definitely repeat.
