I can see why it’s been recommended. The staff was very friendly and inviting. A bit of rustic sports bar that appears to be busy most of the time. In fact, there was a line waiting for tables. The food was delicious. At times it can be a bit loud and crowded. If you don’t mind that, it’s a great place to sit down and have a delicious meal.

The food was okay, though a bit overpriced, and the service was decent, but I was charged a 3.5% “non-cash surcharge” for paying with a debit card. I thought it was a mistake so I inquired about it and was told No, no mistake. I understand charging for a credit card payment, but I have NEVER heard of charging for a debit card. If you eat here, I recommend paying cash, and they do have an ATM. I will not be returning.

EDIT: Since posting this review, I have found out that this is illegal in the US.

From Google:

“No, it is not legal for a merchant to charge a fee for using a debit card in the United States. The Durbin Amendment of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act prohibits surcharging debit cards and prepaid cards, even when the card is used as a signature transaction. This law was enacted in 2010 to protect consumers from hidden fees.”

Traveling from out of state and stopped for the night. Highly recommend this place. Food was delicious. Ambience was a very small town field service was out of this world.

We stopped in for my birthday dinner. It was Wing night and the beer was great.

I had the hot garlic parm wings with a side of onion rings with honey mustard dip.

My wife ordered the chicken quesadilla and the French Onion soup.

Everything was fresh and tasty. The service was excellent as usual.

Keep it up, we will be back.

French onion soup was excellent. The waitress/bar tender out back on the patio was very friendly and accommodating to us, who were newcomers.

Super tasty big burger. The fries were not greasy and very well done. Good portions. The beer was good but they need more local beers. Service excellent. Atmosphere was a typical bar nice and busy
