I never leave reviews but, this place deserves this one.
Decided to stop in and eat there while traveling through the area. Should've kept driving but, the reviews said it was good. It must be the only place to sit down and eat in that town.
A table of 3 and we waited every bit of 45 minutes to receive our food. Staff said they were short handed but, said that's how they run the place.
We ordered a few of the appetizer pretzels and expected a nice restaurant quality and received cheap grocery store quality pretzels so, those were definitely over priced for what they are.

The rest of the food was under portion and very bland tasting. A little seasoning wouldn't of been a bad thing.
The waitress was very nice but, over worked so, we felt bad for her.
I would never recommend travelers to eat there.

Jennifer was our server and she was fantastic! It was our first time here and she was courteous, told us their specials and was very attentive. The food was on point! The burgers were cooked just right and the fresh cut fries were a nice size, no shoe string french fries here! Lol
We will definitely be back and would recommend 528 Tavern.

We stopped here because it was close to our hotel. We were not prepared for what we encountered! The food was great and service was top notch! Michelle took care of us. She had great suggestions for local wines and beer. She was super friendly and answered all my food allergy questions kindly and confidently. We had the wings and handcut fries. As New Yorkers, we know are wings, and these were legit! The fries were amazing too! And the enclosed patio was a welcome retreat from out day in the car! It is a definite MUST STOP!

Fantastic Long Island! The wings were perfectly cooked and the sauce was on point! Very good steak quesadilla as well. The bartender was my server as well and such a nice guy! Only critique would be the furnishings were a bit dated. But for sure I’ll be back!!

Walked in , sat down and walked right out ,
After hearing you don't offer draft beer. That is make or break for me. I'm sure the food is good but didn't stick around to find out after hearing you only offer bottles of beer. Not having draft beer screams dive bar. Get draft beer and maybe I'll consider staying longer.

Very busy. High noise level, but all guests enjoy the upbeat atmosphere of it, it appears. Normally 5 star on food, but mine was a little crispy and no, I didn't complain or send back...totally understandable as shortly after the doors open, it's like a flash mob for food there. Kudos to all for keeping up with getting food, drinks and orders handled efficiently!
