First time there mid afternoon on a cold windy Saturday. Reasonably busy but service was good. Four of us had pork chop, buccatini, and lobster ravioli. All very well made. The dessert of croissant bread pudding and salted caramel ice cream also excellent. Will definitely go back even though it's a longish drive from home. Looks like the inn could be fun when it gets warmer.

I can’t say enough great things about Vincent William Winery! They recently hosted my grandma’s 80th birthday party and did an amazing job. Every detail—from the presentation to the service—was flawless. The staff was incredibly professional, warm, and attentive, making the entire event feel extra special. Their drink menu is especially awesome and serves a great variety for everyone. Thank you for helping us make such a memorable day for our family. Highly recommend for both a visit, stay, and any special event! 🍷✨

We absolutely loved celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary at Vincent William! It was instant relaxation with an absolutely beautiful room and view! The staff was very friendly and welcoming! The food and drinks were fabulous! It’s so great to have such an escape 3 hours from Columbus, we can’t wait to visit again!

5-Star Review: A Hidden Gem on Lake Erie

The Vincent William Winery and Boutique Inn is truly a treasure! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found the perfect adults-only escape. Nestled right on the shores of Lake Erie, the views are absolutely spectacular—especially from our first-floor Premium Suite, which looked out over the pool and lake.

The suite itself was luxurious, with every detail carefully considered—from the French-inspired bathtub and steam shower to the cozy stone fireplace lit by candles. Even with rainy, chilly weather, the warm ambiance made our stay feel magical.

We’ve stayed at many high-end boutique hotels in the past, and too often the attitude of the staff can feel off-putting or impersonal. The Vincent William Winery and Inn was the complete opposite. From the moment we were welcomed by the manager, Tracy—who served as our gracious host throughout our stay—we were treated with warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality. Everyone we encountered was professional, friendly, and fun. We truly felt the love while we were there, and it made all the difference.

Chef Matt Conti’s food was unforgettable. We looked forward to the home-cooked breakfast every morning in the beautiful breakfast room, and dinners were equally impressive. The fire-roasted stuffed peppers, rustic chicken Gouda flatbread, spinach and strawberry salad, Vincent William Burger, and especially the Italian Wedding Soup were all perfect comfort food on those cold evenings.

The wine bar was a highlight—casual, welcoming, and full of charm. A local musical act from Cleveland provided a great soundtrack to our evening, and we loved watching the Guardians game while sipping the award-winning Cab Franc. Owner Michael was a gracious host, personally pouring his wines, and Matthew made us feel like VIPs with his incredible hospitality.

After days of rain, we were finally treated to a breathtaking Lake Erie sunset through the wine bar windows—an unforgettable end to a perfect stay. We are already planning our return.

Didn’t stay overnight although that would be amazing! Reviewing wine bar only and it was wonderful!
They have an estate Cabernet Franc that is truly delightful. Equally delicious is their Pinot Noir.
Wine bar room is lovely (lots of dark wood, subtle lighting) but definitely recommend sitting at the bar for view of the lake. Great patio space with outdoor bars, one section of the patio is reserved for inn guests. Can walk through the vineyard, they also have a nice herb garden. While they overlook the lake and beach there is not beach access from the inn property (there is a city park right next door with beach access).
Will definitely go back and hopefully include a stay at the inn.

I got married at Vincent William Wine in The Hearth Room on Saturday, May 17th. I stayed in the hotel Friday-Sunday. Every detail of the weekend was perfection. The staff was attentive and helpful and made my day so special. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re planning a small event, a day out, or a glass of wine on a beautiful patio, this is the place. Special shoutout to Mike N and Tracy who made every aspect of our weekend absolute perfection!

My husband and I just had the pleasure of staying for two nights at Vincent William Inn and Winery. We stayed at the inn with another couple and we all had an amazing experience. Everyone at the inn and restaurant exemplified the highest standards or service. The team there made you feel like you were visiting family. Everyone was super friendly and did everything they could to make sure we all had a wonderful stay. Mike, the owner, is a great host. Tracy went above and beyond to find our group a wine tour bus when all places we called were fully booked. The property is beautiful and the food/drink amazing. I highly recommend the scallops and bread pudding. We are excited to come back soon for another visit.

Thank you Vincent William staff for an amazing weekend away!

The view is beautiful. The building is nice, could be nicer - some outside neglect or repair needed. Did not stay over, so I can not comment on rooms. Had lunch, menu is very small and limited as well as very over priced. Wine was good. I would go back only for the view & vine.

Fantastic location and even better service! My husband and I stayed 2 nights and had a wonderful getaway. Tracy and Mike were incredibly helpful upon arrival making sure we had everything we needed. Sasha and Kylie in the bar made perfect cocktails before our delicious dinners both nights. We were also lucky enough to visit the new spa where we had a relaxing couples massage with Michelle and Aspen. Mike and his entire team are top notch and a short drive from Cleveland!

When there for dinner with my wife. Extremely pleasant and attentive staff. The salmon roulard was excellent. The location is a quick hour drive from our home south of Cleveland. Should be on your list of places to visit this summer.
