Nice local pizza and ice cream place next to the lake and park. They have slot of items on the menu not just pizza and ice cream. We go in during the summer to get ice cream for the kids. Went in last night and got ice cream and food and everything was delicious. Really nice and helpful staff. They have a lot of flavors as well which makes it nice.
Well, I thought we would try the Mexican spot for a take out lunch yesterday, it wasn't open until 4 PM. We parked across the street from Karen's Holiday Pizza. We wandered over seeing the sign suggesting they had subs in addition to pizza and gyros and ice cream. We each ordered a small sub. They were so genuinely delicious! I remember going to this place in the 90s as a kid. Centerpiece of Madison on the lake. Ritual of mine and my daughter is to get hard iced cream from the holiday and park by the lake and enjoy the views.
