The property and house are very clean and nice. We love coming here. Its quiet and very serene property and we love sitting outside in the woods and being in the vineyards. Inside is very nice and has plenty of seating.“

“They just do things right here! The staff is always friendly. The ordering area is a little haphazard but overall its not as bad as some of the wineries. The option for beer or wine is great for those who like one of the other or need a break from one or the other. The outside patio areas are very very nice and super relaxing. They have live music which is always nice and light bites so you don't go hungry. Thet have amazing dinner and music events, which are, in my opinion, truly amazing evenings out. The musicians/singers they have are absolutely incredible and the dinners are delicious. An amazing place in Madison that is always worth a stop!“

“Have been members now for 15 years and it is worth the money. The wine is fantastic, we don’t bother with wine trails anymore. Once we found Maple Ridge we stopped looking elsewhere. Our basement wine rack is stocked with our membership wines and we always find something to pair with our meal. The owners: Jim, Patti, Ron, and Nina are kind and wonderful people. Jim is a fantastic host and always offers great advice on food and wine pairings and great conversation. Patti is a talented winemaker and a joy to see. We enjoy their members events and Jim’s amazing pizza. We often gift their wine to other family members and friends and they always comment on how good it is. We feel their wine is superior to other wines in the region and are so fortunate to be members.“

“Met a big group of friends here for lunch. The grounds are lovely with plenty of outdoor seating, mostly covered. The food was excellent. I got the margarita pizza and had plenty to take home. Looks like a popular place since it was beginning to fill up for the evening as early as 4.“

“An absolute hidden gem! We had the pleasure of taking a wine tour led by Emmett, and it completely made our day. Getting to hear the personal story behind the vineyard and learning about the winemaking process straight from the source was so special. Shanen was excellent as well! She talked to us about the wines! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and wonderfully relaxing. We loved just sitting back, taking in the beautiful views, and savoring the fantastic selections. We loved the Chardonnay—it was a standout favorite! You can truly taste the care and quality in every single bottle. If you are looking for an authentic, personal, and memorable wine experience, this is the place to go. We cannot wait to return!“

“The sunset Transportation family and workers are all seriously amazing, not only do I assist them with their airbnbs, and thats great! but I get to have peace of mind knowing that my daughter is traveling safe with their transportation drivers for all of her games! Always on time, always respectful, all in all highly recommend!!!! Never drink and drive PLEASE call sunset!! Many air bnbs in the area have their cards hanging around ;)“

“Very nice place, great food. Went with my relatives, we really enjoyed the tasting bar and wine. Very new place, you basically do everything through the QR code to get food or whatnot. Employees are very helpful if you don't want to use the app, they do offer you to order at the bar with an actual person. Their food is more on the healthy side; the only thing I did not like about the food was the ranch. Was not a big fan of that ranch. I ate my wrap dry I could not do that nasty ranch. Next time I will bring my own ranch. But overall great place!“

“I was there for a great experience with the open mic 6-9 thursdays.The host of the mic Jimmy was very welcoming and inviting to a newcomer. Tom and Mike supported people on bass and beat box if requested. Beginners to genuine raw talents participated. The owners were part of the scene all night. Great people,wine, food and regulars. “We stopped in after saying good bye to a beautiful woman. We always like to visit local wineries and this one was great. Having a local winery just 6 miles from home where we live, today felt like we were at home. The staff were very friendly as were the patrons. We were fortunate enough to even hear some local musicians. We had a few glasses of white wine which was very tasty. Heard some great music from a band called Dawn to Dusk Trio, they were great. If we did not live a 10 hour drive or a 1.5 hour plane ride away we would visit more often.“

“Beautiful views with lots of outdoor seating. Next time we will know to bring our own snacks, but you truly cannot beat the view from the back patio. The tasting line was long when we arrived, but moved very quickly and the staff was extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend. We walked in with a group of 7 and had no issue finding somewhere to sit and relax.“

“Just spent the past weekend at Geneva on the lake for a bachelorette party. After walking around the strip and getting dirty looks every time we walked into an establishment to eat (we actually walked out of one for how poorly we were treated upon walking into) we stumbled upon Old Firehouse Winery! As soon as we walked up to the hostess’s area with our party of 9 we were immediately greeted by Iosif who happened to be our server as well. He made us all feel so welcomed and it was a breath of fresh air to feel welcomed after not feeling so welcomed everywhere else we tried to eat at. The food was amazing! Yes, it did take awhile to come out, but it was worth the wait! I ordered a smoked pretzel burger and fries, it was cooked to perfection, so flavorful and filling! Price was on point! The wine slushies were amazing! The live entertainment was also lovely! It kept us entertained while waiting for our food and the live musician was also so friendly and welcoming to our party! I highly recommend this place if you’re wanting a nice relaxing place to sit and eat, enjoying some live music and listening to the waves from the lake! I truly appreciate the service provided to us (a party of 9 women drinking is probably not something any server wants to handle) but Iosif did it so well and deserves some recognition for sure! We’ll definitely recommend and be back next time we come to visit!“
