“Have been members now for 15 years and it is worth the money. The wine is fantastic, we don’t bother with wine trails anymore. Once we found Maple Ridge we stopped looking elsewhere. Our basement wine rack is stocked with our membership wines and we always find something to pair with our meal. The owners: Jim, Patti, Ron, and Nina are kind and wonderful people. Jim is a fantastic host and always offers great advice on food and wine pairings and great conversation. Patti is a talented winemaker and a joy to see. We enjoy their members events and Jim’s amazing pizza. We often gift their wine to other family members and friends and they always comment on how good it is. We feel their wine is superior to other wines in the region and are so fortunate to be members.“

“Laurentia is a wonderful place. We are from the DFW area in Texas and didn't know what to expect from the Ohio wine region or its food scene. We found several wines we love at Laurentia, and their food is excellent. We came back every day of our stay and worked our way through their menu without a disappointing meal. And their chocolate truffles are to die for. Highly recommend!“

“The sunset Transportation family and workers are all seriously amazing, not only do I assist them with their airbnbs, and thats great! but I get to have peace of mind knowing that my daughter is traveling safe with their transportation drivers for all of her games! Always on time, always respectful, all in all highly recommend!!!! Never drink and drive PLEASE call sunset!! Many air bnbs in the area have their cards hanging around ;)“

“Very nice place, great food. Went with my relatives, we really enjoyed the tasting bar and wine. Very new place, you basically do everything through the QR code to get food or whatnot. Employees are very helpful if you don't want to use the app, they do offer you to order at the bar with an actual person. Their food is more on the healthy side; the only thing I did not like about the food was the ranch. Was not a big fan of that ranch. I ate my wrap dry I could not do that nasty ranch. Next time I will bring my own ranch. But overall great place!“

“This place has a lovely outdoor seating area. There was a band inside when we were there and could barely hear ourselves think. Server was nice and knowledgeable about the wines. This is probably the least refined of the wineries we went to, but I loved the feel and the people. Would diffidently go back when the weather is warm.“

“We stopped in after saying good bye to a beautiful woman. We always like to visit local wineries and this one was great. Having a local winery just 6 miles from home where we live, today felt like we were at home. The staff were very friendly as were the patrons. We were fortunate enough to even hear some local musicians. We had a few glasses of white wine which was very tasty. Heard some great music from a band called Dawn to Dusk Trio, they were great. If we did not live a 10 hour drive or a 1.5 hour plane ride away we would visit more often.“

“Beautiful views with lots of outdoor seating. Next time we will know to bring our own snacks, but you truly cannot beat the view from the back patio. The tasting line was long when we arrived, but moved very quickly and the staff was extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend. We walked in with a group of 7 and had no issue finding somewhere to sit and relax.“

“Just spent the past weekend at Geneva on the lake for a bachelorette party. After walking around the strip and getting dirty looks every time we walked into an establishment to eat (we actually walked out of one for how poorly we were treated upon walking into) we stumbled upon Old Firehouse Winery! As soon as we walked up to the hostess’s area with our party of 9 we were immediately greeted by Iosif who happened to be our server as well. He made us all feel so welcomed and it was a breath of fresh air to feel welcomed after not feeling so welcomed everywhere else we tried to eat at. The food was amazing! Yes, it did take awhile to come out, but it was worth the wait! I ordered a smoked pretzel burger and fries, it was cooked to perfection, so flavorful and filling! Price was on point! The wine slushies were amazing! The live entertainment was also lovely! It kept us entertained while waiting for our food and the live musician was also so friendly and welcoming to our party! I highly recommend this place if you’re wanting a nice relaxing place to sit and eat, enjoying some live music and listening to the waves from the lake! I truly appreciate the service provided to us (a party of 9 women drinking is probably not something any server wants to handle) but Iosif did it so well and deserves some recognition for sure! We’ll definitely recommend and be back next time we come to visit!“
