We rode the train, it was a nice little ride. If you can visit the park through the week, do it then. Because the lines were not long and the park was not crowded. We had a great time!
Part of kings island, stay away from the arcade and you should have Good time. I understand carnivale games are designed to take your money, however with the amount of money that was spent getting into the park and playing the game a reach around woul have been nice.
Love the Rivertown area of the park. Grab a ride on Beast or Diamondback, or relax on the train. Grab a pretzel from Auntie Anne's or a funnel cake. The area gets a bit more crowded because of narrow pathways but the rides in Rivertown are some of the best in the park by far. Two drinks to refill your all days cups and a a few great places to grab a bit to eat.
