Applebee's Grill + Bar

Wretched. Burned, disgusting trash. Horrible service as well. Usually Applebee's is consistent, you know what yer gonna get. Not this time. Below sub par. Reevaluate yourself and do better.

After an hour of waiting for our food I asked when it would be ready since everyone around us was eating that came in after us. I forgot to put the order in was not the answer I was expecting. Awesome non birthday dinner for my kid🙄 I get it, mistakes happen. But there was almost nobody there when we placed our order, and why do I have to point out that we have no food after that long of a wait? Took so long we had to leave to rush to the events we had planned. But thanks for removing one of the two appetizers off the bill I guess.😂

Got to the restaurant and it was mostly empty. Ask the hostess if we could have a booth. For whatever reason this took about 3 minutes to iron out where we would sit. After we sat down we were notified that our waitress wasn't even at the restaurant and it would be 10 to 15 minutes before she arrived. They took our drink orders but would not take our food orders.

After waiting about 20 minutes the waitress who took our drink orders was visibly frustrated (at the late waitress) and took our food orders. Our appetizers took another 20 minutes to come out and then finally our waitress showed up. She got us refills on our water and the only other time we heard from her was when she brought our food and check to us.

My wifes food portion was fine, however, I got the chicken bacon skillet and there was only about a half a chicken breast on my plate, asking with 8 waffle fries (I counted because I couldn't believe it... Picture was taken after I had a couple and I decided to write this review).

We will not be attending this Applebee's again.

Clean place easy parking good food.

Wish I COULD review food and service but didn't receive either. Twice in 2 weeks have gone there and no one seated us yet many tables open. Actually only saw bartender. After standing at host table nearly 15 minutes left. Second time sat at bar, no bartender present. Finally asked hostess if place closed(9:30) replied we have been slow so she's in back. No one ever came out or even greeted us. So we left again. Is it worth trying again?
This use to be our fav place. What happened?

Waitress was in attentive. Food was cold. Manager comped one of the meals. This is the second visit that the wait staff has ignored my table.

I absolutely love this place. I just moved to Mansfield from Columbus for a job and this has quickly become one of my favorite dinner spots. The multiple Applebee’s locations in Columbus (I have tried many as a Cbus native) are HORRIBLE, this location has restored my faith in Applebee’s. I have been here ~5 times now and (knock on wood) the atmosphere, service, and food have all been amazing every time. When you walk in, it is busy but not TOO busy, it literally looks like one of their commercials. People at the bar eating and drinking, everyone at tables smiling and laughing, it is such a nice ambiance. And the place is CLEAN!

Cant make money with ur front doors locked at 11:10 am while you staff is outside smoking.

The waitress was very sweet. They were out of a lot of options and gave our toddler the wrong drink. It would have been fine had they been busy but they were pretty much dead. I’m a bit disappointed because I’ve been here before and it was good
