Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

We love going and enjoying the food. Love the salmon. Everything was so good and delicious. We would eat in and take out. My daughter would go every time when she is in town either with us or with her friends. I am so very sad that today is the last day of you being open. Cheddar's will be sadly miss. Now we will have to find at where there is one at. We ordered take out today.

I've been here before and the food has always been good, but not so much the last 2 times, so I won't return anytime soon.I made reservations for 10, yet got a table for 8, and apparently the tables are bolted down so you can't move them. When meals were served, I said, "They obviously cooked mine first because it's already barely warm. Their heat lamps need upgraded.". Plus the fries were the worst I've ever had there.

Our waitress was fantastic. Fast and just right with attention to our table. The food arrived quickly and was yummy! I had the coconut shrimp platter w loaded baked potato and my fiance had steak. It's like an Applebee's Upgrade but not quite a Texas Roadhouse. ;)

It was a busy Friday night. We were able to get a pair of seats at the bar instead of waiting for 30 minutes. The fish was large portioned and delicious. The chicken strips were generous and fried to perfection. The coleslaw is creamy and yummy.

Cheddar's has always been one of our favorite places to go to eat. The food has always been excellent, and they have some of the best prices in town. The waiters and waitresses have always been very attentative as well. This trip was no exception. We have friends who live in different states. They all say this is the best restaurant they have ever been to. Therefore, when they visit, this is where we go to eat. Unfortunately, there is talk that Cheddar's is going to be replaced by another gas station. This will be a tragedy.

I absolutely love this place! The Monty Cristo wasn't something I would normally get, but the nice waitress suggested it to me and now it's my favorite! Along with those wonderful Painkiller drinks! Please take care with them though. You can only have 2 for a reason! And the cheese curds............ so good!

We had a party of 40 for our dad's 91st Birthday. They gave us one waitress. Let me tell you she rocked the night. I wish I'd of gotten her name. She took everyone's drink, appetizers & food orders and had them out within an hour. She never skipped a beat on refills and got all the checks right the first time. She deserves a raise and many accolades for an awesome job well done

Ordered medium well steak. Taste was good, but a little overdone. But it seems medium well is subjective. Rest of my meal (baked potato and the Broccoli cheddar) tasted great. My wife's chicken tenders were undercooked, so was my mom's breaded fish. The flavored lemonades were bitter, like they use a low calorie sweetener. Service speed was ok, but after bringing our order, the server would come and go taking other orders but not even look askance at our table. The manager was nice and asked what he could do to fix it. They didn't charge for the undercooked meals, which was kinder than I expected. So I would go there again. I'm guessing they may have been short staffed that day. Ambience was nice. Staff was friendly. Again, taste was good.

I went here with my boyfriend today and every other time we’ve gone the foods been really good up until today. The mash potatoes tasted like ones I could have made at home. Same with the NY Strip and Sirloin. I never write reviews for places but this place had the worst steak I’ve ever had. I’ve even had some steak that was still edible from other places but this was the worst steak ever!! The server was very nice though and did her job well. But the food was straight up awful. The steak, the salad, the mash potatoes, the only thing I ate and enjoyed was the appetizer. Not worth even $20

Was very surprised they weren't very busy on a Friday evening. So did get immediately seated, but from there on it went down hill. Our food was cool, half of our items were missing, several of us got ribs and they were very poor quality/very fatty. Hair in dressing. Our waitress pretty much forgot about us. Not impressed with the changed menu. I'm guessing others have had bad experiences, and that explains why y'all weren't crowded on a Friday evening!

I don't remember my server's name. But she was awesome. She took care of the bar and our table and carry out at the same time with no problem. She was perfect and anticipated anything that we needed beforehand.. She was nice and polite. I wish she was my server everywhere that I went. The food was also good.

Very disappointed. We’ve been coming to cheddars for years and there are specific things that we all like we hadn’t stopped at the Mansfield location in a long time but we did today it was very very very dirty the floors the bathrooms the booths around the bar everything. We got the loaded french fries to begin with and they were so Wimpy and soft and greasy like they had been just sitting there for a long time mentioned it to the waitress but she didn’t do anything about it I’m not sure if she even told the kitchen staff. I also got the salad with the chicken tenders on top and they’ve changed it it is not like it used to be it was mainly breading and really crunchy outside but no chicken in the middle. We also found a hair about a half inch long in our ranch dressing cup and our waitress was subpar most likely we won’t go back to that location ever again. $50 that I’ll never get back.

This is one of those establishments where you would go for cheap prices and large portions. In my experience, the food was sub-optimal. The salmon was farm raised vs wild caught. It was pretty bland. It came on a bed of rice. The rice was crunchy, and that was unexpected.Service was great and our server was very friendly. If you are looking for large portions at great prices, you would probably have a good dining experience.

Alicia is a great manager! I order atleast one a week! I don't complain much be cause they do an amazing job! They are a great crew. And fully understand how hard it is to have consistency. Thank you for all the amazing meals. All the effort!

Absolutely delicious and the wait staff was very friendly. This is the place to go for good, home style food. Always comes out quickly and you never have an empty glass(well not never but it's very rare). Can't say enough good things about Cheddar's.
