Was gonna buy some bags for my son to try my aunt use to send them as a kid were very good salt and vinegar chips but now I go and the pricing is ridiculous and most of that coming from the shipping like just to ship some chips what do you guys only sell to celebrities lol I tried to get 4 9oz bags and 10 2oz ones and they want 175$ plus like WHAT yeah idk how your in business still. You gotta figure out your shipping cost so the regular everyday American can have a bag … sheesh
I am not usually a fan of potato chips but Jones chips are the exception. They are the best bar none. Especially the salt and vinegar. Love the history of the company and that they have stayed local. Truly the best!
My favorite but can’t get it here in MI any longer. No cooperation with the main company to find out how to get it reinstated here in MI!
Note: yes I purchase items from a discount outlet grocery store here in MI. That’s how I got this bag. I saw cases and cases of these, thought I’d be in time to get more but the store is sold out!! Old date or not!! So here this makers of Jones, these “potato stix” are loved by all. PLEASE BRING THEM BACK!!
I liked thomassons better before they bought then out and discontinued them. They tasted so much better
Staff is good but not enough place for 53 ft trailers. Terrible place for long trucks

Gr8 chips. Been munching on them for 50 years.
These chips are terrible!!! They switched to some cheaper oil and now the chips taste really bad. I think they have the blend of seasoning is cheap probably buying cheap seasoning from China.Definitely won't buy again nor recommend!

To anyone who loves jones chips needs to read this…..I used to work there and the conditions of the factory is so unsanitary they have black stuff that looks like mold underneath the belts that have chips that get sent out on it, there’s flies and knats everywhere so I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s fly poop on the chips. I wouldn’t even be surprised if there was other insects running around the factory!

I guess this is what happened:MANSFIELD — The traditional way of producing Jones' Potato Chips, with soybean oil, is gone. Chief Executive Officer Bob Jones said the company ran out of partially-hydrogenated soybean oil in December — after the FDA ruled partially-hydrogenated oils were no longer “generally recognized as safe.”Jones was the best, and I should know being that I sold multiple brands of chips for 45 years. Now they will be just like all the other brands with palm, cotton seed, and vegetables oils. What a shame. They were always in a class of their own. I hope that the market forces them to bring back the soy oil. . For 20+ years there’s been a fast growing amount of chip brands on the market, and also its to hard to compete with Lays. To compete you have to lower prices, rebates to the major chains, or have a great chip that makes your brand stand out, like Kettle brand chips for example, or like Utz that has products that no one else has. That’s one reason Utz is number one in the South.I have seen companies change their product ingredients for less expensive ingredients, only to lose sales and money in the long run. It happens when people in management making decisions want to make a fast nickel instead of a slow dime. For example, look at Nabisco; 30 years ago they made bad decisions that let Keebler take over the market. Then the Keebler Company had the power to purchase Sunshine Biscuits in 1996, which makes Cheese-Its. Previously, Nabisco was the king of cookies.Whether it is because of the government standards or saving money I think this will be the downfall of Jones. I’ve seen it too many times before. Mabey they should talk to the makers of Have'a corn chips. They still use Soybean oil, which is what made their corn chips famous. I always sold out on those, they are so good. I wonder if Jones could use Soybean oil instead of partially-hydrogenated soybean oil so that it wouldn't have trans fatty acids. I don't have any knowledge on that or the cost effects.I really have the feeling that within the next 2-3 years Jones will be bought out, probably by a company such as Snyder’s or go out of bussiness. The snack food market has become 'very' competitive and the family businesses are getting bought up by the big companiesWhat a shame to see a one of a kind classic chip go away.
I am 46 years old and grew up on Jones! By far the best potato chips on the planet.......
The change from unsaturated fat has changed the taste of the potatoe chips I loved.
When the original taste was changed a lot of customers were lost.People came from other states to purchase Jones potatoe chips. From ? to 0%. 1 star just because it is Ohio!!!!.
Really nice people, seems like an excellent company ?
