Ahh..Munchies. No, I mean Udderly Delicious.!Well, whatever you call it, it is the only place I know where you can get a shredded chicken sandwich or sloppy joe on the go for lunch! Make it a meal with potato or mac salad, coleslaw and some unsweet tea and you have a relatively low-cal lunch. On the other hand, you can go for some fries or their great onion rings and top it off with a shake, cone or one of their many specialty ice cream products - which is really what they're known for. My favorite is the peanut butter shake made with chocolate ice cream, extra PB, extra CHOC, extra thick. Just sayin'.

A wider selection on the menu than you would expect for a place like this. Good service, comfort food. They really keep the place clean, and if you have kids there's a lot of property for them to run around and play.

Munchies is a friendly neighborhood ice cream stand that serve hot foods also. Covered patio and outside seating is available.
The food was good. However, the tables were dirty and I asked to have the table cleaned. The young fellow came and cleaned our table, then went back and played with his phone. Not paying attention to all the other dirty tables. Floor hadn't been swept or moped in quite some time. Ice cream had been dropped on the floor and never cleaned up.
I drive all the way from Shelby to come here. Always good service and ice cream! Love the dole whip.
