Definitely dated almost non existent decor but don't let that fool you. Food and drinks were great. Definitely will be back. It's great to find something that is local and not a chain.

We had a great time there. The staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. Bar tender was great, she had things going every which way and still made you feel good. Food was excellent and a great variety. This is the place to go if you're able to get a table. Make reservations on the weekend..

Very nice to be traveling in the area and have a recommended pet friendly (outdoor) dining facility available. Good place for my favorite food groups (steak and beer!😆), great service and even a dog bowl for a refreshing drink for our furry companion!!! 👍

Not impressed at all . One of the entrees we ordered was the shrimp & scallops, literally 4 of each for $32.99, ordered it sautéed and they brought us fried which we gave a chance . Also ordered 2 ribeye entrees which were about an inch thick , no seasoning and 40% fat. The bathroom which was the size of a closet was right off the dining room which is disgusting . Having spent $150 ( not including the $32 tip ) had expected better food . The waitress was kind and attentive , the only reason we even left a tip as it was not her fault . Will not be going back .

I have visited Oak Park many times over the years. The food is always wonderful! Perfect steaks and the seafood is amazing! On our last visit we had the walleye bites to start with and they were so good I could have just made that a meal. Our shrimp and scallops came next, along with spinach salad & french onion soup. It was all delicious. The blackberry sprites is a very nice light beverage that compliments any meal. If you have never been to Oak Park Tavern, you should plan on going. You won't regret it!

It's difficult to write this review. This place used to be so, so much better. The Lobster Mac and Cheese used to have true lobster claw and meat and was $19.99 for a larger portion. While this was a few years ago now, the fact that they have jumped the price to $32.99 for this half hearted linguisto lobster meat is just a shame and very disappointing. The steak, burgers, sides and appetizers were downright pitiful. The food overall is now mediocre at best and you will find better options elsewhere. For the cost to dine in there, we expected more from them. This used to be an amazing place to eat, but sadly, we will not be back. Cutting costs and increasing prices have shown in the quality of the restaurant and it now stands in the shadow of it's former self. Unfortunate.

We were on our way home to Texas from Pittsburgh and saw a bunch of great reviews about this place. This was absolutely worth the 30 minute detour! From the food to the service, everything was fantastic! We sat at the bar and our bartender was the sweetest lady ever. I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese which was amazing! It was super cheesy and it had just enough lobster to enjoy. My husband got the ribeye and it was very tender. All in all an amazing little hidden gem. Don’t judge the book by its cover because it’s definitely worth checking out. And just a tip I learned, if you’re gonna go on Friday night, make sure you make a reservation as it tends to get pretty packed in there

Wonderful hidden gem. Server was a foodie and so great to have. Fried Green Tomatoes.. AMAZING! Drink menu is so tropical and fun. Omg, the spinach salad with warm bacon vinegarette is a WOW! Great Perch, Scallops, and Shrimp. Drove from Columbus to just try it... and sooo worth it!
