A very relaxed and warm atmosphere with really friendly and helpful staff. The food was really good as well. We will definitely eat here again.

Went to a Christmas part here and had a great time. The staff were super friendly. The food was good, and the atmosphere was extraordinary. Looking around at all of the amazing woodwork and beautiful antiques was exciting for me.

I hate leaving bad reviews. (I think this is my first for a restaurant) The food was really poor quality. My husband had the fish and chips, only had two pieces on the plate, and it was almost entirely breading. My meal wasn’t any better. The bathrooms were filthy, flooded, and the trash was overflowing. I felt gross after leaving.

The only thing I could complain about this place is the lacking craft beer selection (what I was drinking in the pic was IT apart from the usual national/multinational brand beers).
Also, if any outta towners are passing through this town for any reason, strongly consider staying at this hotel (within the same building) just upstairs if the price's right. It ain't a chain place, but this place in general legitimately cares.

Fish and chips were excellent, best fries I've had in a long time. Basically pub food but no complaints, prices are very reasonable. Service was friendly and attentive.

1 waitress, 1 bus/server fellow, packed house.......absolutely the most pleasant waitress, she was pulled in every direction and still managed to serve with a smile...same with the bus/server fellow....????????..to the cook/s in the back..delicious and everything was served hot....and this was a Thursday around 5:30 pm. We had the Salmon & Fish & Chips....delicious..we will definitely be back . Loved the view of the river from our table, plus the hotel is gorgeous.

Remains of a past that will forever be missed. Amazing pictures and memorabilia, building is a bit run down for sure. Smells of past flooding perhaps. Anyway, food was just awesome, we sat in the bar area because the restaurant side wasn't open at lunch. The waitress knew her stuff and gave us wonderful advice on ehat was fresh and most loved by the regulars. She was just fun to chat with too. Beautiful view of the river and parking eas just across the street.
