“They have excellent food. The chips and shells are particularly well done and the rice is fluffy and delicious. The only problem is that the salsa is subpar, quite bitter and not tasty. The salsa alone is what keeps this from being a monthly consideration to a quarterly option. Compared to their outstanding chips, the salsa is beyond a disappointment and more of an a disgrace. The entrees are well portioned and come out hot. Service is typical.”

“Every single time I have been at the Boathouse, no matter how busy, the staff has always been prompt to seat us and super-friendly. The food is always great and the atmosphere is what keeps me coming back! The only thing I would love to see is either the fire pits in use or patio heaters for the cold nights to add warmth to the fabulous views.”

“A storm washed out our Friday night at the Sternwheel Festival. So we stayed at the hotel and asked for a delivery food recommendation. This was the clerk's top choice. Nice menu with interesting items. We ordered a thick crust Meat Lover and a tomato cucumber salad. Food came to the hotel 30 min later.
Pizza was great. Sauce had a unique aftertaste. Salad was simple but excellent. Together it made a great meal. Highly recommend. Great food and service.”

“I came back to Marietta for homecoming again. I had probably one of the smallest rooms in the hotel, but as it was only myself it was perfect! I was on the 5th floor and had an awesome river view! I had absolutely zero issues during my stay! Breakfast in the Gun Room was tasty as ever! Meetups with classmates in the larger center suites were great! I will definitely be staying here again in the coming years!

Rooms: I had probably the smallest room in the hotel, but as it was only myself, it was just the right size! The ensuite bathroom was perfect. The shower was built for tall people and had great water pressure and temperature.

Walkability: Park your car. You can walk most anywhere in Marietta in 20 minutes. I moved my car twice, once for dinner Friday evening (Williamstown) and once for breakfast Sunday morning (at the Busy Bee - tasty!) in Harmar.”

“I will say only nice things for this Bob Evans! We ordered gluten-free, but didn't get it. The manager quite quickly took the meal back and personally instructed the cook to prepare the meal new. He did not yell or berate the server, but patiently explained to his crew what went wrong and how to fix it. Our server was very apologetic. After a long day of driving, this is the place to go!”

“Fantastic atmosphere. People of all ages here, and everyone was totally comfortable. A little disappointed that the grill here is no more (their ads said burgers, but they shut down their grill and grilled foods a while ago), but the rest of the food absolutely made up for it. Good beer and drinks. Local beers, vodkas, gin, and mead. Server was friendly. Well worth the visit!

“Today my fiance and our two best friends had brunch there this morning for the first time. IT WAS LIKE IGNORANT GOOD. The food was beyond amazing, our server, Madison, was THE ABSOLUTE BEST and the atmosphere was so retro cool. So we enjoyed such and amazing experience and we complimented Madison the whole time about our brunch, but the best part is that she came out and presented us with a piece of key lime pie for all of our compliments from the head chef. I immediately requested to speak with him. He came out and we told him what an enjoyable and delicious experience we had. We sooooooo plan on visiting there again and SO HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT to anyone who want to enjoy a memorable eating experience.”
