Me and my husband are impressed with our first visit here. We both got the chicken curry and it was absolutely delicious. The server was kind and perfectly attentive. I loved the feeling when I walked in and how calm I felt. Me and my husband have found our new date night eatery.

The lamb MELTED in my mouth. Everything had such good flavors. I ordered the food about 30 mins before the store closed and it still arrived super hot, fresh, and fast. The portions are great too! 10/10 would recommend.

So let me just start off by saying, I’ve never tried Indian food before. I ordered through DoorDash and gave it a try. Let me just say AMAZING! I got the chicken tikka masala, absolutely awesome 5/5. Chicken Pakora, really good almost like chicken tenders 4/5. Paneer pakora is like a more firm cheese stick 4/5. The garlic naan was A+ 5/5. Got the desert gulab jamun, not really my style, it kind of tasted ā€œfloralā€, but I can see how some can enjoy it 2.5/5.now it’s time to talk about the star of the show the drink. I ordered the mango lassi, it was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted 100/5. If you are one that is on the fence about trying Indian food, Star of India is 100% the place to go to try it!

Quaint, wonderful Indian cuisine. Aloo Palak (spinach/potato) and Chicken Tika Masala were delightful and enough for a complete home meal the next day. The true ā€˜star’ was the naan (flavored bread) with either garlic, onion, spinach, or all three on one. Highly recommended for folks that know good Indian food (for the American palate) and a tasty veggie and non-veggie appetizer for those just curious. Seasoning with hot spice is added upon request. Overall, a pleasurable dining experience.

We tried ā€œStar of Indiaā€ for the first time this weekend and it certainly will not be the last! The curry is to die for, the food was ready quickly, and the worker who handed the food off to us was so friendly! 5 out of 5!
