My husband and I live several hours away in Ohio but we come back every October to Marietta to visit family. It’s always around our wedding anniversary. We have been coming to The Galley to celebrate for the past six years as a tradition and each visit is amazing. Our supper on Friday 10/25 was no exception. Everything from the appetizers and drinks to the entrees and desert was scrumptious and our server Dustin was excellent. He truly went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. Thanks to the staff at The Galley…we will return next year to celebrate our 7th anniversary! ❤️❤️

Not sure if it was a race thing. However being a mixed race couple and ignored by two servers over 2 tables that were seated after us and those tables being white people only. Race is the only conclusion I can come up with.

Excellent, excellent burrata and fig salad with country ham - so satisfying. great corn bisque as well. My companions liked their salads and crab cake sandwich. Friendly service, and the patio was very comfortable with its shade and ceiling fans, even on a hot day.

We love visiting The Galley when we are in town. The burgers are always cooked to perfection, the pasta dishes are tasty, and the service is excellent.

Stopped here on a road trip and had an excellent experience. Very nice people, historic/quaint atmosphere and the food was very good. The menu is fairly sophisticated for a small town restaurant. We tried a couple of the pasta dishes and burgers. All excellent and the pasta was clearly fresh made in house. The French onion soup was great and very true to how it’s supposed to be with a traditional crock, Gruyère and croutons. Kids menu are pretty good size portions and should be good for most kids. We tried 3 desserts and all were tasty.

Kid-friendliness: Nice kids menu. Drinks included in price.

The concerts are awesome. Technically the adelphia holds them, but I consider it just the same place. One of the nicer places in town to eat. Has indoor and outdoor seating.

My girlfriend and I decided to try The Galley for lunch while visiting Marietta, and it was a letdown to say the least. We were seated promptly but then waited a painful 20 minutes just to get someone to take our drink orders, despite seeing others who came in after us getting served. The table next to us that arrived 10 minutes later got their food before we even had our drinks. I eventually had to flag down the hostess and tell her that we have yet to be helped. Eventually the bartender came over to wait on us. (We weren’t sitting at the bar). It was weird because there were three waitresses in our area with seemingly only one table each. None even bothered looking at us of course. I guess waiting on more than 1 table is too much for this staff to handle lmao? If this is supposed to be Marietta’s best restaurant, it's a joke. The bartender was clearly overloaded and our service suffered because of it. The food came out relatively quickly, but it was pretty average, nothing special. Maybe we would have enjoyed it more if we hadn't spent the first 25 minutes feeling completely ignored. I'd recommend looking anywhere else if you want good service and a decent dining experience
