We were driving down to Cincinnati so thought this would be a great place for a take out meal... quick and easy, but not fast food. I was so wrong. We called in our order as we neared town, and were told it’d be a 15-20 minute wait. There were 2 other tables there, both of which either had their food or received it shortly after I arrived. There were 3 staff members working, one of whom was eating at the end of the bar and picking meat out of her teeth with her fingers while scrolling on a laptop. The place smelled dirty and unpleasant, the bar was disgustingly dirty, overall I just got a very grungy vibe from the place. I waited over 1/2 an hour for our food. The portions were small, the food was cold and the fries were revolting and tasted like the fry oil had been used for weeks. My sisters food was equally disappointing. I was really hoping to be able to give a small business a 5 star review…but this experience was so bad…

We wanted BBQ for a family gathering of 20 people. We decided on Taste of Memphis, and are so glad we did!We ordered brisket, pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, and coleslaw. It was all delicious. And they were so nice to do business with.Highly recommended!

Pure taste of disappointment… food was served COLD and very dry. We sent it back, it was re heated and food just was god awful. The service was amazing our server was very sweet which is why we didn’t complain to her about the food again, we just paid and left. Beautiful on the inside but the food was 0 star. My corn looked 10 years old. The Mac and cheese was heated in plastic which they served it and the plastic was melted in with the Mac & cheese .. also just shredded (not melted) thrown on top when served it was hard as a rock and horrible smell. I wouldn’t wish this food on my worst enemy
Where to start.. got in there drinks come out quick. Little slow to order food, even slower to receive it.. had to stop the waitress and ask for refills on drinks while waiting for food for over 45min to have my burger come out cold with cold fries( which are a spitting image and taste of McDonald's fries) my son had a full rack of ribs which my dog wouldn't eat they were so burnt and also cold. The only thing decently warm were my daughters chicken tenders. Not a good first impression of this place at all and won't be back. Not once after receiving our food did our waitress ask us once if it was OK or if we needed anything. Had to get up to get extra napkins myself.

We have been here 3 times. The first time was good. The second time the food wasn’t good. The third time was last night. The sign at the front of the restaurant listed what they didn’t have, ribs or beef. We walked out!

Family drove over an hour to try this place out based on a recommendation from a friend. Needless to say, we regret that decision. We came in for a late lunch (2pm on a Saturday), they might have had 4 tables going. We figured, hey cool we came at the right time to try out some good BBQ. Took a little bit for the waitress (later found out she was the manager on duty) to acknowledge us and get our food and drink order. Seemed like she was not having a great day. Figured cool, no big deal. We waited 40 minutes to receive drinks and only did so after my mother went and asked if we could please get our drinks. She passed our table a number of times serving others who had come in after us their drinks. The waitress came back with attitude, sat our drinks on the table, and threw the straws down. She made the comment with attitude, “If you haven’t noticed, I’m the only one working.”She came back with our appetizers a few minutes later and said, “Sorry for being a b***** ,would you like a box for your food?” Insinuating it was time for us to leave. My mother asked if she could see the manager. She stated, “I am the manager.” Feeling no longer welcome in the establishment, (never felt welcome to begin with) we left not touching any of the food or drinks that were brought out.I have not seen a level of unprofessionalism like that in some time and from a “manager” no less. From the moment we came in, she was nothing but rude and disrespectful. If you are traveling and visiting Marion, consider other options. Anything would have been better than this. Stay as far away as possible!
