Espresso making event was a perfect night. Bethany & staff were great. Appetizer were great , with great price point. Everything well organized, fun & espresso martini skills have been stepped up with all Bethany’s advise & skills. Also love seeing teaching & loving something they enjoy, it’s a vibe !! This establishment is absolutely beautiful. The drinks were made well and tasted great (Recommend the Espresso Martini). The bar staff was incredibly friendly and professional. House of Spirits was able to solve a problem I had in a pinch and were happy to do it! I will be back and I highly recommend giving this place a try!

A small bar in the lower level of a house - decorated handsomely with subdued lighting and dotted with antiques here and there. Clean single person restroom, 70s rock and pop playing quietly.
Here I tried several cocktails including a roulette (bartenders choice).
All of my drinks were fantastic. I appreciate the commitment to craft. I had the easter special which is velvety and fresh. A 'radioactive', is tangy, bursting with fruit.
Honestly my only recommendations would be service, as I would have to signal that I would like another drink or to pay my tab, when I had been sitting some time waiting with multiple folks behind the bar. However all staff was so nice and I will definitely return.
Whoever decorated may be interested by the aesthetic period in interior design. I like what theyve done with the place.

First time visiting and drove 50 minutes to get there. The decor and atmosphere are spot on for this stately house. We very much enjoyed the unique cocktails. The food menu is limited, but everything was delicious (a little longer cook on the flatbread would be nice). The quality was better than expected for a lounge. Unfortunately, the bar service was disappointing. I would have thought there would be more staff for an "event" evening. We would have stayed longer and spent more if it didn't take 20+ minutes standing at the bar each time we ordered drinks. The bartender never made eye contact or acknowledged us until we said something. A simple smile and "I'll be right with you" goes a long way. Instead, she was defensive. Obviously she was overworked and that's on management. I understand good specialty cocktails take time and adequate staff (up front and in back). Maybe we'll try again, but not when they have an advertised event.
