Beer is below average
We love going to Walking Distance Brewing. It is a safe space for all and I’m grateful to have somewhere where anyone can be themselves❤️
I love it there! It’s a great place to hang out with friends 😊
Love the vibe here. The beer can be hit or miss for me, but there’s always something drinkable on tap. Love when the food trucks show up so we can try different stuff.
made a non beer drinker a believer today! the peach (spaceman?? I think) IPA was absolutely delicious 🤤 the bartender was super friendly & totally spot on with his recommendation! can't wait to come back again❣️
Personally, I don't care about politics or a lot of the stuff WDB gets praised for. I only care about the product, and I wasn't impressed when I went. I checked their site ahead of time to get an idea of what I wanted to try. When I got there, I was told they didn't have any of the beers I was interested in on draft that day. Bummer. I tried a few others of what they did have none of them were all that noteworthy. Pretty basic flavor wise. Plus, they weren't very cold either. Just seems they care more about activism and being trendy than they do about putting out a good product. That's just my assessment based on my experience.
Found out about the Walking Distance at Marysville Pride 2023. We were moving to Marysville and hoping to find a local bar that was inclusive and a fun place to visit. We found ours literally within walking distance. I can't say enough good things about the owner, staff and patrons. It's a fun time every time we go. Cheers to Teddy!! Much love from the Hesslers.
Unlike Gary M. I find this place really wonderful.
All inclusive brewery and kids are welcomed too! I was looking for a place that also does not like Gary, and I finally found one. Definitely worth the trip.
Friendly, great selection! Flights are great. Love that you can bring your pups ??.

We always have an awesome time at Walking Distance. Great brews, friendly and engaging staff, fun events, and they regularly have a variety of food trucks. What’s not to love??
Drinks are well made, you can't even taste the alcohol in them ? atmosphere stays warm and welcoming and everyone has a smile on their faces. One of the few LGBTQIA+ inclusive places in the area that is a safe space imo.
There's almost always *something* going on, from food trucks to performances...
A great place to be yourself in !
Bonus points for dog friendly ?
We love WDB and are so thankful to have such a neat brewery right around the corner, literally within walking distance. Some of our favorite memories in Marysville (over the last two years that we have lived here) have been at this community-focused, welcoming brewery. We love playing trivia on Thursdays or watching the Columbus Crew play on Saturdays! Family friendly✅ Dog friendly✅ Inclusive✅ Local food trucks✅ Personable owner✅ the list goes on…
WDBC- Where good beer meets a welcoming atmosphere. It's more than a brewery; it's a safe space for all, with vibrant patrons and staff. They host tons of fun and unique events and schedule food trucks regularly. Stop in for a beverage and a bite, and stay for the camaraderie!
Such a cool spot! I live in Columbus but have friends and family in Marysville. Walking Distance is always a pit stop when we’re in town! We’ve had normal meetups, and also once hosted my friends book swap there. I’ll purposefully go out of my way to patron places that are inclusive spaces, and Walking Distance is that in more than one way. The team and ownership doesn’t discriminate based on gender, color, lifestyle, etc. My husband doesn’t drink, and they still have plenty of options for him when we’re there. I wish we lived closer because I would be there more often! It’s worth the trip every time though, definitely stop in if you haven’t yet.
