Had a $40 gift card so we ordered two of the 2 Meat Plates which also came with two sides and bread for each. With the Tip, that pretty much covered the $40. Online ordering was easy and painless. Food was fine, (albeit a bit stingy on the portions) and folks were friendly enough but could tell they were anxious to get out of there as it was getting near closing time. Perhaps the lunch hour is a better time to visit.

Got the Brisket sandwich with cheddar, smoked onions, and meat drippings to dip in. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. First visit yesterday, going back Friday. Well done!!!!

I need to preface this by saying that I really do not like Kentucky or Ohio barbecue. The only barbecue place that I have been to that has really blown my socks off was a Texas originated establishment called Harmons Texas Barbecue. So, when my stepfather told me that there was this place called Dickey's which came from his hometown in Texas, I was optimistic about another Texas originated restaurant.
