“The place is like a novel that is about to happen. It's like America in the 1950s all over again. Once you become a regular -- it doesn't take long -- they are happy to see you. They will call you by your first name. There are a lot of working people who come in there for lunch and middle management types with ties and shirts with rolled-up sleeves. They come there because the food is great and the servers are amazing. The servers draw happy pictures on your check saying thank you. You can watch them cook; it's a diner. I usually get a Greek Salad but the hamburgers and fries are great. So are the Gyros with the Tzatziki. Coffee is bottomless and you have to tell them to stop! The food is great and the service is great. It's like family.They are busiest from around 11:30 to about 1:30 PM. They close at 4 PM. They only open on weekdays. They take credit cards.Vegetarian options: Not vegan but you can get salad and sometimes vegetarian soup. It is Mediterranean so you should be able to work something out. Ask the staff what they would recommend.“
“So I visited here 3 days ago and absolutely loved their food(first time trying greek food). I went back 3 days in a row since my hotel was only 5 minutes away.I've tried the normal Gyro, Titan, Ares, Chicken soulvaki, and am taking the Chicken Philly and Dolmades home for tomorrow. All of them were great and would get again.I also tried their Baklava, which lives up to everyone else's reviews. I got the spanakopita, which is amazing dipped in the Tzatziki dip.The owner is a sweetheart and took care of me each day I was there. Great service and atmosphere.I only have 2 pictures of a Gyro, Titan, and the Baklava.“
“Love Mezedes! Went in today specifically for the chili week special and it did not disappoint! The regular menu at Mezedes is great, but you have to always be on the watch for the specials as well. Great place to stop in with your family and get good food and friendly service.“

“Maria, the owner, just catered a party for me. Pastitsio, Athenian Salad and the wonderful green beans. Empty plates and many compliments! The macaroni and cheese is the best I've ever eaten. Also the chili is unique in flavor and full of meat. It's an excellent lunch with a warm soft potato roll. You cannot go wrong with the owners hospitality and love of Greece. “After a closing for a buyer in Montgomery, it was absolutely necessary to stop into this cute spot! I highly recommend the cappuccino with oat milk and almond croissant. Even the almond paste is made in house, and absolutely delicious. Also, the owners and the customer service. The atmosphere is very quaint. I stayed and worked a bit and there are community tables so that you don’t feel like you’re in the way. Highly recommend!“

“This place is never going to be a "5 star" dining experience -- it's a neighborhood grill. Having said that, I'd certainly be back for another Philly Cheese steak sandwich with some crinkle cut fries. Service was very good and food arrived quickly and hot!Parking: Some spots in front and plenty in the back. No problem.“
