Great place! Order and pay at counter, they give you a number, self serve on drinks. Clean, modern look. ( LOVE the abstract paintings)! Find your own table. Food came out pretty quickly! Beautiful presentation....and delicious too!! Also, Bathrooms clean and spacious. Not having to wait for a waitress and the bill is a huge plus!!! We will be back!

i would highly recommend going here! the food was delicious and the service was on point the whole time i was there. it’s a good place to get some breakfast or lunch and work on homework. i have to give a shout out to my friend Noah who works there and made the food

I was greatly pleased with my visit to the Maplewood today. One of their cooks, Noah, had recommended trying out the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and I was not disappointed. The contrast of the lemon zest of the pancakes was complimented well by the berry compote and fresh fruit. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit and enjoyed a bit of humor. I would recommend trying out this restaurant!

Had a delicious lunch bowl here today - the Guajillo. FYI it is smaller than you may expect of a bowl. The base of rice and quinoa was about half a cup to give you an idea. Next time I’ll add a protein. It was excellent and creative nonetheless. Lots of character in how the restaurant is decorated modern-farmhouse style. I’d go back. You order at the counter, then grab a table and a server brings your food over.

Recently had brunch here. Decent avocado Eggs Benedict, but it was odd to have the asparagus on the toast. Other places put it on the side. Still good, just weird. Breakfast hash was good but lemon ricotta pancakes were a little dry. I liked that the water carafes were self-service. Coffee was decent and again I liked the self service. Whole meal was a little expensive so I’m not sure I would come again.

First time at this location. We love the concept, the ambience and the food at MK! Just a couple of suggestions - the very young staff could be coached in having a more friendly demeanor. They are efficient, but a friendly smile when interacting with the customers will be nice! And please have a policy that staff should remove their apron before going to use the restroom. That should be a basic health dept mandate, if it is not already in the book, and one to strictly adhere to.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is healthy and delicious and the customer service is excellent. I probably visit a few times a month and it never disappoints! My very favorite is the Mediterranean chicken bowl. I chuckle at the review prior to mine that states that the pita chips are the best thing about the bowl, as I disagree, I LOVE the hummus, fresh salad and chicken the best. Just goes to show that taste is subjective! :-) So glad Maplewood is in Mason and so close to where I live!

Great service we loved the set up that you order and pay before sitting so we can leave whenever we finish eating. The goetta and pancakes were great

Really impressed, been to their location downtown, but not to Deerfield, did not disappoint! Great selection of beer, wine, drinks - fresh and traditional food options. I had the guajillo bowl, really enjoyed it, lots of different flavors that paired wonderfully. Excellent latte and coffee! Really well done interior with modern design, neat quick service element-at counter order service makes things quick, but still feels like a nice place to have a meal. Check it out!! ?

First thing I noticed is Elegant decor. It is my taste and is beautiful. The menu is small (also I think it is cool when you walk in the menus are hanging up on clipboards for you to grab off) I like the set up you go to the counter to order and they give you a number to place on the table. You may seat where you please. You are also given a coffee cup or soft drink cup to fill up. I love this because I stay thirsty and there doesn't have to be any waiting when you can do it yourself! Between my mother and I we got the avocado toast, lemon ricotta pancakes , scrambled eggs, toast, bacon and hash browns. My favorite was the avocado toast. The crunchiness of the toast and the softness of the avocado was just perfect. The pancakes in my opinion are very lemony. I like lemons, but it was a little too much Lemon. The eggs and hash browns were good they had green onions and various spices that made them different unlike anything I had. The bacon was not the best, it tasted a little to healthy for me. I think this place would be a good place with brunch with friends. I don't think I would take my little children there because of the food options. Also it is a little pricey for what we got above was over $50.

Good but not fantastic. Person taking the orders did not seem to know much about the menu. I had the hash with the goetta. I was a wee bit disappointed with drink selection, but I would go back. I was actually all set to order something that was on the online menu but the didn't have it, so that might have contributed to the "not fantastic" vibe.

I went to Maplewood kitchen for the first time and was not disappointed. Good atmosphere and decor. You place your order at a counter and they bring it out to you. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes. They were light and fluffy with a berry compote. They served real maple-syrup on the side. The portions are huge. I definitely plan to eat here again.

Tried this new eatery for brunch and loved it! Serving all organic selections in a nice open space. Maplewood Kitchen is a great place to enjoy a variety of dishes. I had the Chicken Tinga which was super good! The chipotle braised chicken on a crispy tostada was bursting with taste and topped with cage-free eggs. Also sampled my brunch buddies lemon ricotta pancakes which were equally good. I will be back!
