My friend wanted to have an early dinner at this restaurant. Yesterday, august 5th 2025, we were
at this restaurant at 5pm. They were not busy there were only 5 tables with customers. Our waiter never once smiled, he disappeared after serving our meals, we had to repeatedly flag down a different waitress because our waiter was NOT anywhere around. The food was good BUT the service was lousy as it ALWAYS has been when I've gone there. There's A man either the owner or the manager who leans on the end of the bar looking out over the dining room and I've yet to see him EVER smile or interact with a customer. NOT going back there ever. I'd tell EVERYONE who's reading this to drive up the street to a little place called AGAVEROS & ENJOY THEIR atmosphere, smiling faces, GREAT FOOD & GREAT SERVICE!!

SCARY SERVER: I had 1 main server bring me a Diet Coke after waiting 10 minutes to be greeted. Someone else brought me a half basket of chips and salsa. I also ordered queso, it got slammed down in front of me. I waited 45 minutes to get the water I order originally with my Diet Coke (from a busboy) because my server walked away from me while I was still talking to him to go outside. Slammed down the check and I haven’t even ordered my dinner yet! By then I was too upset to eat a whole meal and just got dessert. I got charged for 2 full baskets of chips and salsa (servers should make sure I got 2 full baskets if they are going to charge someone). He told me the policy and asked me condescendingly “do you understand?” repeatedly. I felt scared and intimidated by him standing over me, his menacing glare, and his tone of voice. I understand if you want to employ people out of prison, but please have them work the back of the house because they scare customers.

So they rebranded the whole menu , deleting many great items,to name one the pork with green sauce.Most of the constant staff remain ,plus a few new additions ,a female and a server who calls everyone his friend.Food is still good quality for the most part ,queso recipe is different.To be honest this place was my favorite Mexican restaurant in North East Ohio , I just ask why the changes ,sure were the old menus needing new covers ,yes ,but to rewrite them ? Some generic AI cartoon cartoon on the front ? I'm really convinced that someone up top decided to ask some low budget AI for ideas on how to rebrand their restaurant,they had some extra spending crash made from the amazing vibe and old menus.I still enjoyed my meal ,the vibe is still amazing in the downtown spot.Id still recommend this place , compared to the other sub par tex mex .

Beautiful building, very friendly staff. Food was just okay. Not much flavor, fajitas were burnt. Salad did not seem very fresh.
