Recommended by friends and unfortunately we had a difficult experience. Pork chop was dry and overcooked, pasta was cold, service unacceptable, and from time of order was over an hour and a half. Only two other tables of people there at the time!!!!!! Won’t return

Love places with outdoor flame broilers that make their own food. Many house made items but the char grilled steaks and chops are sublime. Many great specials and game day events make this an affordable place to visit.

I have very mixed feelings so I’ll try to explain the best possible. The food was good. We were there 1 1/2 hours total. It was an hour before we got our food. It took half an hour for our order to even be taken. Hubby got a porkchop and we were told 30 mins after ordering it takes 30 mins on the grill. Understandable. She was the bartender, the server, bussing her own tables etc. So I can’t blame her at all for the time being we spent waiting. They def should’ve had someone helping her do SOMETHING. The biggest turn off was who I presume to be the owners wife yelling cussing being super vulgar and extremely inappropriate. It was actually super embarrassing for me and I don’t even know them personally. Very distasteful. Again, good food but I would not recommend.

We went with a big group with individual checks. Autumn did a great job! A lot of people ordered the pork chop special, so it took a long time to get our food. This was understandable because they were being cooked on the grill out back. I had a discrepancy on my bill, but Pat was wonderful in explaining it to me over the phone. There is a charge for using your credit card that did not show on the bill. Food was great! Atmosphere was good too! We will definitely go back!

Honestly, this was probably the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant/bar.

I took 2 of my contractors/friends there for dinner on 6/19/24 as they raved about the porkchops! We had some drinks to catch up first. Then 2 things happened after.

1.) We went outside for a few minutes (but put coasters on water glasses to save our seats at the bar). Came back and someone was sitting in one of the seats...and our waters were gone. I asked the gentleman sitting their if he would mind giving up the seat for my friend. He didn't even acknowledge it, so I let it go...life is too short. One of my friends even asked the barmaid about it, but she didn't want to get involved.

2.) Because we didn't have 3 seats anymore, 1 person left. I asked the younger girl bartender (not the blondish girl as she was nice) very politely if we could have another drink whenever she had time. 10 minute's later she said "Can I just make them doubles?" I asked "why?" Her reply was "So I don't have to keep coming back over here."

I mean you can't make this stuff up. I get she was busy, but none of us were pushy or in a hurry. And there were other redflags too like the bartender blowing vape/smoke at the draft beer in her hand that was being served to a customer.

Anyway, none of us made a big deal. I just asked for our tab, paid it and left. (which was over $100 and would have been much more if we stayed). I never got to try the food. Better places to support imho.

Food is just above average. It’s good but nothing that’ll blow your mind.
Server came off very condescending. To the point where you didn’t wanna make a simple request for a refill , etc because it would be met with possible attitude. There are plenty better dive bars / hole in the walls in the area to go to.

Having grown up in the area, now living in Georgia. I don't get to enjoy awesome hot Italian subs and burgers , unless we come back to visit. Thank you for the best hot Italian sub I've ever had.

We had the bourbon glaze steaks with fried potato chunks (they call them homefries). With a side salad.
The steaks were delicious (very thick).
