When I was a kid, my uncle owned this restaurant (Meg's). I did painting and odd jobs there in the summer months. It was always a place for locals to gather for affordable, quality breakfast. Though the name has changed, it remains true to form. A great no frills place to gather for a meal and some quiet conversation.
Delicious local home style food. They had a pretty good size menu with lots of options and the price was great for the amount of food we got. Coffee wasn't anything special, typical diner coffee. I got the build your own omelet with cheese, ham, mushrooms, and onions. Then half an order of biscuits and gravy to try, and hash browns on the side. I love this place because it opens early and you can get a good breakfast if you wake up hungry! The waitresses are always very kind and attentive and the food always comes out quick.For my visit today I ordered a standard breakfast (eggs/toast/Homefries/meat) with some sausage gravy and coffee.Everything was delicious!I highly recommend this place for breakfast for sure!
