Very cool old mansion. The food was pretty good. The Wagyu burger would have been good without the bacon sauce; it overpowered the taste of the burger. I tasted the parm crusted chicken sandwich, which was pretty good. The fresh parm on the salad was delicious ?. The chocolate cake was ok. The room with the warm fireplace was perfect. Nice restrooms ? ?.
Our whole experience was excellent-a place to take you “away” right in Massillon- we will return but we were taken back a bit by the prices. I myself had the portobello mushroom caps with zucchini noodles.$24.00. That entree was not worth $24. That price point should have been $15.00 at best and classified as an appetizer. Ambiance was great. Our waitress was spot on! They had no steak or pork chops available (disappointing). Got steak bites they were good. The Brussel sprouts were rock hard. They were taken off our bill. The meatball was good. Really liked having our “own” room!
