Dan'Dogs used to be great. Friend and I stopped in. Dinner time and only 2 in restaurant. Onion rings BURNT. Server should have made new ones. (Only 1 employee working) but we were the only customers. Hot dogs very small. And for the BURNT onion rings the only thing said was Sorry. Used to love Dan's Dogs. Very sad to see this happen because unfortunately won't be dining at what used to he a favorite.
I frequented Dan's Dogs as a kid and loved it. Great hot dogs, great service and a great price. I had even been back as recently as 5 years ago and it was a bit more expensive (understandable) but just as good services and food. I decided to take my family here a couple weeks ago and I couldn't even explain how disappointed I was. The service was abysmal, the prices outrageous, the quality of food severely diminished and the wait time (at only 1/3 capacity) was terribly long. Over $50 for a family of 5 to eat hotdogs I can make better at my house for less than $10 and soggy fries. We didn't even get sodas. I've heard it is under new ownership and that's the only reason I can think it has gone downhill so bad. Will not be back and will recommend family and friends to steer clear.
They have vegetarian hotdogs listed, but they do not have them and won’t have them in the future or ever! There is not anything for a vegetarian.
Decided to stop in with 2 kids in tow. Who doesn’t love hot dogs?! I had the Dan’s Famous Dog and my sister had the Reuben dog. Both hot dogs were amazing! I would go back to try more hot dogs, for sure. The toasted buns were awesome. Good fries, even though mine weren’t very hot. Kids meals were good. It’s an interesting place with interesting decor. I took off a star because the place could use a deep clean. No one likes going into a restaurant that looks grimy/dusty. I had an overall good experience and would recommend it!
Great place for a unique experience for the classic hot dog. My family and I always do here for lunch before going to play alien mini golf up the street and it is always a great experience. It sets up our fun day because as we wait it's the perfect environment for I-spy and other screen free games. Sara was awesome today and made sure my BLT was made to my liking, I'm picky about my bacon, and it was perfect thanks for the great experience as always guys ?
I hate giving bad reviews but we had the fish fry March 4th and it was the worst fish and perogies I've ever had. Mrs Ts perogies are better and these were freezer burned. The fish tasted like old oil used and I'm not sure if it was fish. We had a few bites and left both plates. We informed them of how bad everything was and was not even offered any sort of discount. I will never go back here again and I always support local. Very disappointed.$37 down the drain.
I had a Coney dog with onions. My friend had Dan's did, including jalapenos. Both were very good, my friends not as his as expected.Coffee and hot chocolate for drinks. Ordered iced tea, but they were out.Restaurant decor, 1950's/60's. Nice. Brought back memories.
Great place to feel like you're going back to the 1950's. Hot dogs are delicious. Great place for kids... food is served on paper baskets. Would have given my review 5 stars if the restaurant was cleaner and the bathroom door worked right.
This place is so cute! Me and my 2 friends went here for dinner. 2 of us got hot dogs, the 3rd got a burger. All of us enjoyed our meals. The theme is very 50's theme. I got a Oreo peanut butter milkshake that was super yummy as well.
They only had hot dogs available today. So we had a hot dog and fries. I had chili on my dog but not very flavorful. Fries were good.

Awesome place to go for a bit to eat. Was extremely busy but waitresses were amazing at keeping it smooth and fast.
What a fun dinner ..loved the decor..the hot dogs were very good and what a large selection of different types of toppings.
Oh my goodness this place is cute! It definitely needs some cleaning up and the bathrooms need to be remodeled and cleaned up. But wow, what potential here. The prices are ok. The menu is very extensive. My youngest daughter loved the purple cow float. The food was good. Service was mediocre. The waitress really didn't seem to care much about anything other than the cook. She and the cook bantered and flirted the whole time. My daughter found it suuuper entertaining and talked about her favorite whitty comments on the way home? They were out of so many things on the menu it became almost humorous. They turned of the drink machine before I could get a refill. It was just odd. The atmosphere is so fun. I really hope that we were just here on an off evening. This place could be awesome and packed with a little more effort.
Met friends for lunch today at Dan's Dogs. Had my usual Deputy Dog. Hot dog topped with peanut butter and grape jelly. #DeliciousFriendly service, nostalgic atmosphere and good food :) I will definitely be going back.
