Just stopped in to place a "to go" food order with Bonnie. I had a drink while the food was being prepared. Great menu, the food was prepared perfectly, and enjoyed talking with Bonnie. This is a great place if you wanna stop in for a quick bite and a drink.

My husband and I have lived in Litchfield for 7 years but have driven past the Friendly Inn many times and never really thought about going in. I recently had lunch there with a friend and was pleasantly surprised at my experience. So my husband and I decided to go for a quick dinner and found the staff very welcoming and the food was good too. They offer daily specials and an extensive menu of mainly pub food that is cooked to order. If you are looking for friendly people and a quick bite make sure you stop in and support a local business that doesn't get enough exposure!

Their wings are delicious, but grossly overpriced. I don't know how a corner bar can charge $18 for a dozen wings and call it market price.
