Medina Brewing Company Reviews
Medina Brewing Company has mostly great employees, but check your tab for extra items and double charges. Yesterday, a passing bartender who is new and didn't serve my two beers asked what type of beer I got, so I told him. Later, the bartender who served my last beer asked how I was already on my third. When I said it was my second, he told me that a third beer had been added to my tab. He offered to correct it, but we agreed that he could just pour a third one after I finished...read full review
Keep an eye on your bank statement! I bought one pint of beer and had an additional charge on my account that wasn’t mine. I contacted the business and sent a screen shot of the charges and haven’t heard back from them.
I like to support small local businesses, so I really hate to leave a bad review. However, I left feeling very disappointed and I think other people need to know how this place operates. Medina Brewing Company offers excellent service, delicious beer, and a fun atmosphere. Located in a repurposed old Purina building, it features a two-story establishment with a large restaurant area and multiple bars. The food, provided by Big Dog Daddy BBQ, is fast and good, allowing customers to order from the brewery or take out. The staff is friendly and the bar is cute with many beer choices, including 16 beers on tap that cover all styles, such as ciders, stouts, and IPAs. The brewery closes at 11 pm on weekdays, so visitors should arrive early. The ambiance is described as a "rehab'd" industrial environment, which some find cool. Overall, it is a must-stop venue if in the area.
