It's hard to give this place enough praise. The quality of the food, the amicability of the service, and the prices were all a pleasurable rarity. I had stopped in to this little family owned restaurant a few weeks ago with a friend who had never tried sushi, sashimi, or raw fish in any form. When the two girls preparing the food heard of this, they prepared various, fresh cuts of fish for him so that he could try a variety and see what he liked. They went out of their way...
it was good. not the best sushi, but not the worst either. order got messed up, so they had to make 2 rolls after the fact & didn't charge on one since it was their fault. tasted fresh, but rolls were not very tight & not as much flavor as other places. but the prices were equivalent, so i'm not complaining.
the takeout specialty sushi was underwhelming. It wasn't fresh and each piece was coming apart. Overall it's a bit cheaper than other sushi options in the area, but still nothing to write home about.
