Sérénité Restaurant & Culinary Institute

My husband and I decided to try somewhere we’ve never been - and we had a great experience here. Our waiter, Kip, was very nice and knowledgeable about the dishes. He was attentive and friendly. Our meal was delicious!! We ordered two apps, a salad, two entrees and a dessert. There were customers at the bar and we were one of three tables in the dining room area - it was quiet and romantic. We will definitely go back!

This is a lovely restaurant and the staff are terrific. We enjoy getting to support the cause that this restaurant is the foundation for.

Very disappointed at the Mother's Day brunch. I thought they would have chef carved prime rib since the ad said rib carving station with horseradish and au jus. However, the small thin slice of well done prime rib was brought out to you by the server. You had to ask each time you wanted this thin slice. We were offered horseradish but no au jus.

I was thinking when I booked we would have a decent size slice of medium rare prime rib with au jus. That did not happen. Same with omelets...although none of us ordered an omelet...you had to order and have it brought to you.

The eggs benedict was served with poached eggs over a biscuit rather than english muffin. The biscuits were extremely hard. Then I asked for fresh brewed unsweetened ice tea and it was not at all fresh brewed. Not knowing this I added sweet and low and made it ever worse. I should have ordered hot tea.

Then there was dessert of strawberries with pound cake. That tasted good but whipped cream would have been a nice addition.

I will say the place is very rustic and the woman who seated us was very nice.

Finally the tablecloths are too long in the booth. Each time you got out to go to the small brunch area it slid off and you had to keep trying to move it back in place. It was a bit unnerving.

All in all I would possibly try dinner but would not recommend the brunch.

Beautiful atmosphere, the Lavender Lemon Martini was delicious! I had the Pork Belly and a salad with shrimp...fantastic! Audrey and her team are so friendly, kind, and provided excellent service! Definitely going back!

We found Sérénité by accident, as we were walking to a different restaurant, but it was amazing. We were greeted like old friends and the food was great. I will definitely visit again when I'm in Medina.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Serenitie. We were warmly greeted and our server, Kip, was excellent. My lavender lemon drop martini was amazing! We had the bread service and salads, then pork and duck with wine for our main courses. For dessert, we had the cheesecake and creme brulee with coffee. Everything was delicious and beautifully served. We highly recommend Serenite, and supporting its unique mission.

Our meal was incredible. Everything was absolutely delicious.
I had duck breast with Brussel sprouts as my appetizer.
Both were unique and delicious.
Desert was chocolate torte and crème brûlée. Both were delicious.
Service was excellent.
We will be back!

Had dinner here this evening and I ordered the wild mushroom risotto and my husband had the carbonara. Both meals were exceptional with such good flavor and very filling. Staff was so nice and accommodating. Very good restaurant if you have food allergies too. Will definitely be back.
