I recently stopped by this little sub shop, and I have to say—it was a genuinely great experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who greeted me with a smile and made me feel right at home. The menu offered a great variety of subs, from classic favorites to unique signature creations. I went with the [insert sub name if you want], and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The bread was soft on the inside with just the right amount of crunch on the outside, and the ingredients tasted fresh and well-balanced. What really stood out, though, was the care and attention put into everything. You could tell the team takes pride in what they do. Service was quick, but not rushed, and everything came out just right. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or just craving a great sandwich, this sub shop is definitely worth a visit. I'll absolutely be coming back—and bringing friends next time!

Another casualty of private equity. Absolutely disgusting. Menu isn’t what it used to be. The people have no clue what Dave’s used to be. $42 for 2 sandwiches made with MICROWAVED CHICKEN?!?!?! They used to be cold. Man making food in sandals in the kitchen?! Nasty. What a shame.

We've been here several times and never had an issue until now. New owners? Not friendly. Sandwiches were terrible. #7 supposed to have pastrami and corned beef. There were only 4 very small pieces of corned beef. Hardly any veggies. Old bread. Very disappointed.
Best sandwich I’ve ever had. Way better than subway and jersey mikes combined. I had high expectations on the way in and I just got blown away of how good these sandwich’s are. Staff is nice and kind, and this is a great place to get lunch.

Ordered the Big Dave sub. It tasted like a Dave's Cosmic sub normally tastes. Shredded cheese piled ridiculously high and saturated with that Cosmic sauce. I don't know why I keep trying with that sauce. It's not very good. Just very vinegary and strong. Overpowers the rest of the sub. Was disappointed to find out they discontinued offering pickle spears with every sandwich. The pickles they used to give you had a unique flavor to them and were delicious! Also, it appears they discontinued the green apple flavored Dave's soda as well. That was my go-to flavor every time I ate at Dave's. The green colored soda kind of fits the vibe of the place as well. Why discontinue something that makes your customers happy? It's the little things that count and are what people remember. Needless to say, I have become much less of a fan of the place now, and probably won't be coming back anytime soon. As a Clevelander born and raised who prefers to support local Cleveland small businesses over the big chains, it pains me to say that. I have ate at Dave's off and on for the last 20 years or so. However, Jersey Mike's and Penn Station have remained pretty consistent and don't get rid of stuff that works. I know what I'm getting with them. Sorry Dave 😑

First time getting subs from here, two Italian subs. The roll was hard, dry and crumbly, like it was stale or old. The meat tasted okay, didn’t care for shredded cheese on a sub. I’ll stick with our regular subs we get from another establishment.

My co-workers and I were boarding up a vehicle impact to the building this sandwich shop is located in. We chose this shop for lunch for convenience and I was so surprised at how much I enjoyed my meal. The restaurant staff was amazingly friendly and fast! I got an Original sandwich and it was one of the best subs I’ve ever had. I find most sub chains have pretty blah sandwiches but this one was full of flavor!
