A few years ago this WAS a great place to buy pizza. Unfortunately the last 3 times I've ordered from there, the pizza is made sloppy, cold to touch when i opened the box, and this time (even with the 25% TIP i added) the delivery man carried the pizza sideways and smooshed the entire $30 pizza into a greesey ball of cheese and dough in a soggy box last time, I would usually have pictures of this but the pizza was so bad i threw it out before even thinking... Last time I'll ever be back.

Meatball bowl was huge... Enough for two. Jo-jo's were very good, I like mine well done. Garlic bread could use alittle more butter & garlic. First time I ordered...over all they were very good.

If you are looking for a great place to enjoy some delicious pizza, you might want to check out Gionino's Pizzeria in Mentor, Ohio. I had the chance to visit this restaurant recently and I was very impressed by their food, their cleanliness, and their friendly and well-mannered staff. The first thing that caught my eye was the variety of pizzas they offer. They have everything from classic cheese and pepperoni to specialty pizzas like chicken bacon ranch and buffalo chicken. You can also create your own pizza with your choice of toppings. The crust is thin and crispy, the cheese is gooey and stretchy, and the sauce is flavorful and fresh. The pizzas are baked in a brick oven, which gives them a nice smoky taste. The second thing that I noticed was how clean the restaurant was. The tables were wiped down, the floors were swept, and the kitchen looked spotless. I felt very comfortable eating there, knowing that they follow high standards of hygiene and sanitation. The restaurant also has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with warm lighting and music. The third thing that I appreciated was how friendly and well-mannered the staff were. They greeted me with a smile, took my order promptly, and brought my food quickly. They also checked on me several times to make sure I was satisfied and had everything I needed. They were polite, courteous, and professional.Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Gionino's Pizzeria and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves pizza. The food is excellent, the restaurant is clean, and the staff are nice. It is definitely one of the best pizza places in Mentor.Parking: Very limited space for parking

This place used to be so delicious. Not sure what’s happened. The last two times I e had them. The pizza has been extremely greasy and undercooked. The sausage also doesn’t taste like real sausage. And their pizza sauce is also no longer good. Never again.

We tried to call yesterday (11/19) to place an order, but their phone appeared to be down. No biggie, we had someone go to the store and place our order. Come to find out, they TURNED OFF THEIR PHONE…. When I asked why, the guy at the counter said ‘we were too busy. If we kept taking orders, it would be a 2 hour wait’. Then, another customer came in to the store to place an order and the same guy said it would be only 20 minutes…?? I guess I’m confused. Being a pizza shop, aren’t phone orders your bread and butter?? Then, after I got there to pickup at the estimated time given, I had to wait another 20 minutes for cheese bread. All the while being told ‘it’ll be just another minute or two’ multiple times. As an added bonus, because our pizzas were sitting out on the rack for 20+ minutes waiting on the cheese bread, they were barely luke warm once we got to eat them. I don’t know what happened to this particular Gioninos, but we won’t be back.

Pizza was good but my wife got the chicken and got very severe food poisoning. They need to follow proper food safety guidelines for chicken.
