Wowza! I got an order of pork egg foo young and a large pork fried rice both with extra pork! My goodness what a delicious meal! 3 meals actually! I truly can't see Chinese food getting much better than Hunan Lake! Yes indeed! Treat yourself right! Order extra pork, order extra shrimp! Oh yeah my shrimp egg roll was also delicious as was the hot and sour soup!

Always have a problem ordering on the phone. Today I ordered from them on line and used my credit card My husband went pick up food and was told that it wasn’t paid for. We got the runaround. I ended up paying again, but I told them I expect my money back if I’m double charged. The person I talk to you on the phone wasn’t the most pleasant. I am very sad because we do like their food.

My granddaughter and I frequent the establishment twice a week, my granddaughter had two cookies she was going to take with her the waitress came over and wanted us to pay a dollar more for her to take the cookies, I don’t think that was right, I politely let her know I won’t be coming back

I would give the whole experience one star. Not pleasant on the phone or at the counter. The rice was bland as can be. The water chestnuts were tangy rotten. The egg rolls tasted , like they were from marc's frozen foods. Won't be going back. I knew when I didn't hear that asian accent on the phone I was in trouble.

This is the type of place I really like. Its local good food with large quantities at a cheap price. You just can't order certain food from here. Empress chicken is 🔥 chicken lo mein 🔥 egg rolls 🔥 Im afraid to get anything else, General and Orange chicken not great <3

The guy who took our order over the phone is rude and is not helpful at all. Used to love coming here and will no longer support this place.

I wish I didnt have to leave a star, this place does not deserve one. The food was HORRIBLE alot of money for food we couldnt eat.
Ordered chicken chow mein. Got boiled chicken and raw vegetables. No noodles despite it being a noodle dish. Inedible.

Great food. Our first time visiting and loved it. A very personable young man cashed me out. Definitely going back.

Food is decent, nothing special. Not bad but not particularly great. Pretty basic Chinese takeout which is good. Was difficult to order over the phone due to language barrier. Wanted general tsos with lo mein on the side but got rice not sure where the disconnect was. Food was ready on time and warm. Portion sizes big which is good. This place is good if you need a quick takeout for decent price.
Only giving two stars because the crab rangoons & egg rolls were awesome. Everything else was dry & overcooked. The general tso’s sauce had absolutely no spice at all. Fried rice and sweet & sour sauce were bland. Disappointing because it’s so close, but I’d rather make the 15 minute drive to Panda Express.
Expensive for what it is!!! Worth the drive to Pecking or China House- they are way more reasonably priced and portions are better

I live right next door to this place, and I enjoy it each time I go. Food is always fresh and not so salty like most Chinese-American cuisine. I also enjoy they put bean sprouts in their fried rice, compliments the dish splendidly. Entrance is takeout focus, with a clean entrance, clean counter and utensils/sauces were well stocked.
