This place is closed. I guess they do catering only now? Problem is they haven't turned off anything including their online ordering systems.

This place is amazing, Bought Gyros for my entire team today and everyone loved them, even the people who have never had one. The meat was very tender and tasty!!

I would not eat there!! This place is dirty, the meat is frozen then thawed. Disgusting!!

Deeeeeeeeelicious! Traditional gyro was awesome, and the fries are amazing. If you haven't been to Big D's you are missing out!

I just ordered from this place for the first time for me and my family and it was some of the best food I had locally. I will definitely become a regular customer. The owner is a great guy also. 150% recommend for you to check this place out.

Just did my last meal from this place before getting back on keto tomorrow and man am I okay with that decision. Gyro was stacked full of meat and delicious

Dirty. Doesn't wear a mask. Advertises special and acts surprised when you expect them to honor it.

Not a good experience. My food was cold and the owner wasn't very pleasant. I'm pretty sure this place wasn't expecting a good review from me after what I experienced. I won't be back.

Just stopped in for a quick gyro. This place is a hidden gem. The owner was working. He told me he makes a good gyro. Even makes his own sauce. Well he lied. The gyro is to DIE for. Pita a bit crispy great sauce very fresh veggies. It’s a great gyro. Much better than the other place down the street. If you haven’t tried it yet you should. It’s in the heart of mentor next to mentor TV.

We were super happy when this place opened hoping for some good gyros. We were highly disappointed I don't think you can call your self a "gyro shack" if you use pre sliced gyro meat and generic cucumber sauce. We also got a burger and you could tell it was frozen and was extremely dry. if it couldn't get any worse the bun was stale to the point were it literally crumbled apart. We will never go back here again. Highly disappointing.

if you're in the mentor area , next to the Shamrock Bar, there's an excellent Gyro pick up spot. We tried the regular gyro, reuben gyro, and chicken and bacon gyro as well as big boy burger. They also have a veggie one. All made with fresh ingredients and tasted excellent. we brought them home overnight and warm them the next day and they were great.

We got a traditional gyro and a jumbo traditional gyro. Both were delicious and even the regular sized one had a generous amount of meat on. Highly recommend the hand cut fries.

01-06-2021. We saw on their website that the place was supposed to be open at 4:30. The website allowed us to place an order online around 5:20. We got there at 5:40. The place was pitch black. We called the number and someone picked up and hung up in a ring and a half. Called again and it rang until voice-mail picked up. No one called back explaining why order went through when the place isn't open. There is a Facebook page that could be updated so people can know the place is in fact not open. Had other options but chose to go there, to not be able to eat there was more than frustrating and disappointing. Will not be making that mistake twice.

Reopened under new name and much smaller menu. Article in local paper quotes owner as saying he couldn't survive under COVID. True, that's been tough for every food place, especially those that had just gotten started. But I wouldn't be so quick to say that the quality here didn't play a big role. New menu is all "gyros," but that's apparently only if you believe "gyro" is a synonym for "pita." Even the actual "traditional gyro" is not traditional -- instead of gyro sliced sliced fresh off the log, it's presliced meat. Alleged cucumber sauce lacks the tang I would expect. JFar better real gyros available in the area. Only two sides -- fries and tots. Fries are skin on.
