The food at Mean Mugs is always outstanding! Their tater tots are the best I've ever had! The service has always been great- even with take out! So nice to have a family-owned business that is miles ahead of any chain restaurant!

Went here for the first time last week and was pleasantly surprised with the experience. Service was great, the food was really good, and reasonably priced as well. I got the Buffalo chicken pizza and it is probably the best one I have had yet. Highly recommend and would go here again.

We love this place. Consistently good food, great staff and very clean. Every time we go somewhere else we compare it to Mean Mugs and how much better the food is at Mean Mugs. The best thing here is the staff. Every single person is friendly and competent.

We have always frequented this place and recommended it to others but after today's visit, I will never do either again. My husband and I stopped in for lunch, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with Swiss and crispy bacon and a side salad as my side. Salad was brought out first, I took about 3 bites of it and waited to eat it with my sandwich. When the sandwich was delivered, I cut it in half and noticed a few gray or white hairs in my sandwich. So gross!! I called the server over, who was really nice and advised her. She looked at it and said she'd get the manager. The manager came over and thoroughly inspected my plate as if I was making it all up and then said oh yeah, it is a hair.she said she'd have a new one made. I told her I really wasn't sure I wanted the same cook making me food again as it is obvious they weren't wearing the proper kitchen attire such as a hair net or hat. She claimed they do and said she'd take the chicken only off my bill even though I completely lost my appetite because of their doing and could not eat anything. She said she was still charging me for my salad. That is fine, I will not be back.

Their pizza, wings and burgers are good. Salads are huge! Sometimes I think the high steaks sandwich is a little light on the steak and heavy on the mushrooms. Not a fan of their fries at all so I usually get either the tots (which aren't anything special but a safe option) or their onion rings. Onion rings are really good, they're battered which I prefer over breaded.
Good food, server was good, atmosphere was typical sports restaurant. Ordered the Cajun hot wings, thought a little too heavy on the dry seasoning. They were okay.

I've been the mugs a few times. They have a great patio, especially in the evenings when it's cool in the summer. The staff is friendly and fairly attentive. They offer good selection of items on their menu. I like their double cheeseburger with crispy tater tots. I also like their Philly cheesesteak with lots of mushrooms, and of course, crispy tater tots. It's not a bad place to go have a burger and beer. My wife and I have enjoyed more than one evening there. So check it out if you Mentor
