We came here for dinner on our stay in the area, it was our first time at a mission bbq and they were exceptionally helpful and kind. We immediately looked up if there are any locations near our house because this easily just became one of our date spots. The food hit the spot and warmed me up in this cold weather! Thank you to all the staff for making dinner so easy tonight 🫶

The food itself wasn’t too bad besides the cornbread being insanely dry. But I mean for almost $70 should the portions be a little bigger probably but it’s bbq. My issue is with the service, the point of a pick up order is so it’s ready when you get there and don’t have time to sit inside. I walk in and tell them my information they say okay down there so I walk down and nobody greets me I just stand there until I finally say something as my order is just sitting there even after my name was called. The employee acts like it’s a burden to bag the order which is fine since 3 other employees just stood around who could’ve bagged it but I really shouldn’t need to ask multiple times just to get my food, even though it’s just sitting there getting cold.

They catered our work-day party this past Sunday, December 7th, and absolutely nailed it. Huge spread of great food, plenty of BBQ sauces, top-tier buns, and every supply you could think of—plates, napkins, serving spoons, even a tablecloth. The smoked brisket was spot-on: perfectly smoked and still moist. If you’ve got a crew to feed for a party or a work day, you’re not going to top Mission BBQ.

My husband is a veteran & we love this place for the way they honor those who serve(d) in the military and are First Resoonders. We moved to SC five years ago but always stop in whenever we are in Lake County for BBQ & mac/cheese that is every bit as good as down South! The workers are always so friendly & respectful. A special thanks to Amber who spent time talking to us & brought us a complimentary dessert! Nice meeting you, Amber!

The pulled chicken and jalepeno cheddar sausage are so good, as well as the cheesy potatoes and apple cobbler dessert- both amazing. Sweet potatoes are good, but I’d prefer a bit sweeter and marshmallows on top would be to die for.
Best BBQ in our area that actually tast like southern BBQ. Great atmosphere and the management is always super friendly. Love this place

This place was awesome had the smoked salmon were from Louisiana and Texas we know BBQ 😋 and we were very pleased with everything and the biggest thing is they support all veterans and honor them which is a dieing thing now of days much respect for this business and what they stand for.

Mission BBQ is easily my favorite BBQ place. The amount on meat that they put on the sandwiches is amazing.
First time eating here. The food is so good, I get why the place is always busy. I had the brisket sandwich and mac n' cheese & highly recommended both. The staff was so nice, as well.
