Ignored by bartender after the regular customers came in for family feud, was only able to order one round of drinks before we sat for 20 minutes at the bar without being helped while the bartender talked to the regular customers. Decent prices and fun atmosphere, but seriously lacking in the customer service department.

Apparently the owner likes to invalidate customer’s experiences with rude comments. Disappointing because we actually wanted to like this place.

Wife and I finally were able to get a babysitter and wanted to check this place out. Got there around 4:30 and it was fine until about 5 when people started to come in. Bartender was more worried about talking to her friends and what seemed like regulars that came in, and we sat there waiting to order another drink for almost 20 minutes. Games are outdated and some don’t work, as other reviews have stated, so to us it wasn’t worth the $40 we spent.

*EDIT*
We were served normally until other customers came in, all of which knew the bartender so she focused on them. Our first round of drinks was ordered before the bar started getting traffic, so once regulars came in we essentially were ignored which is when we waited 20 minutes (while the one singular bartender schmoozed with regulars) to order ANOTHER (reading is essential!) drink before deciding to just close the tab and leave. More than one game was broken as well; the buttons on Mario don’t work properly, the pinball machine wouldn’t work at all, the hunting game’s aim is nowhere near accurate. Making snide comments about a customer’s review history is both weird because you felt the need to look at my profile and rude, definitely not a way to get business. Do better.

*EDIT 2*
Deleting your original nasty response doesn't change anything; your ONE and ONLY bartender at the time was busy serving customers she knew and it's common sense to check on ALL customers sitting at the bar, not just the ones who are regulars. We weren't at a table, we were literally sitting at the bar and got ignored for 20 minutes despite trying to get the bartender's attention. The theme of the bar was understood which is why we chose to come there on our one night off. None of my reviews are of a small business unless you consider mold on a Burger King (fortune 500 company, far from a small business) acceptable? All this goes to show is that you're a poor business owner; if you have an event going on (which you do practically every night) you need to make sure you have enough staff to serve all customers, not just the ones they know. That's essential to operating a successful business, otherwise you get negative reviews. If your employees are so hardworking and NEVER ignore customers in favor of regulars, then I guess the other reviews stating the same thing as I am are liars too LOL

*EDIT 3*
Owner reports and removes negative reviews even if they're accurate. Reviews don't speak for themselves when you remove the bad ones 😂

While this could be a great place to go, a lot of the machines were broken. Cruising racing game, one of the screens is turning completely pink and while we were able to use it at the beginning of the night, by the end of the night, the screen with decent coloring was rolling over so the bottom of the screen was at the top. The skeeball machine was broken and even after it was "fixed" by an employee climbing on it kicking it, it broke on the second game. TMNT buttons for Leonardo's attack were only working 1/4 of the time. Lunar lander game cabinet had the player one button sticking so it kept bringing you back to the main menu. The Simpsons cabinet had Bart's attack button only occasionally working. The Sonic cabinet that you need to request controllers for... The controllers didn't work. Buck Hunter's gun aim was off by several inches. Donkey Kong's joystick wasn't moving to the right. Block button on Mortal Kombat was sticking for first player. There was no soap in the women's restroom and some of the hand sanitizer dispenser were empty or weren't working. The wings tasted good but there were a few that were undercooked.

I'd like to come back but unless they fix all these issues, it's not worth the $60 I paid for my evening.

Place was small the game section was very limited not to my liking my party lefted as soon as we walked in.

Please update your website to explain the wristband policy and full menu kitchen information. It is misleading calling this a restaurant lounge when the kitchen isn't open when the facility opens. We would have not paid for wrist bands knowing we would have to wait hours to order food. It seems you have added a response and deleted it.

I’ve been coming to Nostalgia been since the beginning. The owner is consistently thinking of new events, parties, food, and drink items- you can tell a lot of thought and passion goes into it. Food is delicious (chicken quesadilla, burger, tacos), lots of delicious fun drinks (too many to list), tons of games to play. Staff is friendly and the people are the best. There’s a reason I keep coming back.

Disney Trivia night was so much fun. Will definitely be back

Edited: The owner has responded to my review, so this review has been edited from its original.

They have cheap drinks and I spent my birthday there. The owner was nice enough to buy me a shot and me and the new girl made a ton of drinks on the menu.

That being said, the chef was as 2 hours late. She arrived a bit past 8. Since I was waiting since 6 for her to show, this negatively impacted my night since I didn’t just want something that was going to be microwaved. The bartender after the new girl left wasn’t super friendly. The food was okay. And the drinks weren’t that strong (but they were cheap). I don’t think the smash burger was an actual smash burger. It tasted like it was microwaved.

I had a good enough time, but Crooked T’s or the Board Game cafe are probably a better bet. Especially since those places are way nerdier clientele and staff.

The decoration’s of the place was actually stunning. I want the owner to design my next get together it was so nice.

The arcade games were okay. Probably a lot better if you were shitfaced, most are actually old (pre-2000’s which was 24 years ago) arcade games with some of the newer stuff in the back. There’s also circus style games and a pinball machine. I was hoping they would have longer, campaign type games but they didn’t other than a weird commando terminator ripoff. I think there’s something wrong with the Cruisin the world game since the wheel was off.

I had an average time and gave the place an average review. These aren’t inaccurate for my
Experience there.

Came here for Rap Bingo with some friends. We were ignored by the servers/bartender for 20 minutes while sitting at a table. Ended up going to the bar to order. One of my friends ordered the pretzel bites and they were so burnt you could knock someone out with them. Waited to flag down an employee and they replaced them but that took roughly 15-20 more minutes. My smash burger was soggy but edible, and the sauce that came with it was spilled all over container so my fries and burger were covered in it when it was served. One of the bartenders was also vaping behind the bar…. The biggest disappointment was the lack of planning for this bingo. There were multiple errors on the song sheet, the person running it was also running food and working at the bar, and it was very disjointed. Ended up calling it an early night with my girlfriends and went home.

I’d give this place another try, I had alot of fun playing games with my family what was disturbing to me is the mold ring in the toilet in the women’s restroom. Nothing had been wiped down or cleaned in a long time it seems. No toilet paper in either stalls. I overheard other people talking about the status of the bathrooms as well.

Female bartender yesterday could've been nicer. Decent little selection of old school games.

Went for the Taylor Swift trivia night. Lots of fun. Great service. Nice people. On the night we went we were required to place our food and drink orders at the bar. I'm not sure if this is the way it's always done or if it's only done this way for special events. It's kind of a pain to have to get from your table to the bar every time you want a drink or to place a food order. A few waitresses would be nice. At the end of the evening my tab was over $100.00 and then I tipped 20% which I felt was more than fair for the service I received. I gave you 3 stars for atmosphere because I felt the interior was drab. I gave you 4 stars for food since several of the appetizers were overdone and I gave you 5 stars for service because your employees were all super friendly. I hope this clears up any confusion.

Went there for a bingo night and it was super fun. The staff hosting bingo were awesome and the food was pretty good. They also had a lot of pictures and things to remind us of the 90s. Definitely will go back!

We were there for wing night. The wings cooked good but the sauces were more to be desired. It's an arcade type place, but instead of when you are eating and drinking you play for free you have to buy a wrist band for 5.00. The 4 of us had already spent over 100.00 and the place was empty. We weren't going to spend another 20.00 on limited games. I will let them get a little more established before I go back.
