Huge fries, huge dogs. The fries need some seasoning. Long lines in spring due to only one register being open. Definitely a place to patronize during a warm spring day.

A staple in Mentor, Ohio. Good food and good service. Order a smaller fry than you think you'll need!

Today was my first time trying Scooters after hearing from my coworker at The Genesis Center talk about how good the food was. I’m rating a four because I step outside to take a confidential phone call and heard my name being called for my order from an employee and I was told that I must stay and wait inside for my order. Quite embarrassing walking in to receive my order. The food is as good as my coworkers told me.

I have always loved scooters since I was a kid. Growing up around the corner my sister and cousins first job was scooters. Always great food and good atmosphere. Ever since the new ownership however there are flaws. I appreciate them keeping the legacy going and the menu hasn’t changed drastically. The food is still yummy. It’s just a LARGE bummer that the hours are so limited (for the average working person). I’d think dinner hours would be more available than lunch hours. This has prohibited me and I know a few of my friends, from eating here this season. 8pm is very early to close a summer establishment in my opinion. I know no business is perfect and it’s not simple. But just my opinion on what made scooters, THE summer hangout. The late night bites and ice cream.

We were visiting friends in Ohio. After a long and wonderful day at the beautiful lake, we were starving! Our friends said there was only one place to go—Scooter’s! Off we went. We had a large group of people with us so when I saw that the place was already slammed with other customers, I was worried it would be a while. WRONG, this place is a smooth running machine. The burgers and ice cream were chef’s kiss and my eyes may have welled up with tears when they gave us mountains upon mountains of piping hot, perfect french fries, the way it was meant to be. I felt so American in that moment. I’ve since returned to NY, but this place haunts my dreams. I am getting hungry just thinking about it now!I’m telling you, if you’re in neighborhood, only eat at this location and order the fries.

Great place to take kids as it has hot dogs, fries, and ice cream, which are all normally kid staples. I had hot dog tha had a generous portion of sauerkraut. They also have several mustards to choose which I appreciate. I know several people go for the large portion sizes of fresh cut fries, which is enough for 3 to 4 people, but the few times I have had hem they were disappointing and kind of undercooked.

Food and employees were good, but the chili was literally all tomatoes. Where's the beef??Would still go again however! So many menu choices, it's a bit overwhelming, but not in a bad way.

Scooters- always crowded, always fabulous, worth the wait! Be patient, leave a tip- they're working hard back there!Have tried most of the dawgs, not a bad one in the bunch. LA Street Dawg is fav standby when I can't decide. Fries are awesome, beware of size- Jr is almost too much for two of us!

They are some thiqq glizzy glops that drop. Get all the fixings and all the styles of weiner your brain could ever imagine. A must stop! Oh yeah they have all the yummy frozen treats you need as well.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love the experience!Parking: Lot surrounding the location.

Food was not what I expected.service was bad ordered 2 long chili dogs and one short. Got 1long chili dog and one long and lots of fry's that were cold and hard. Wish there were a responsible manager there. I would like my money back for my long chili dog I didn't receive. I have no receipt so check your check out.Kid-friendliness: Kids would love it here that's what runs it.Parking: There parking and picnic tables

We got the flame dog, and I will say, not as spicy as we thought it would be. The hot dog though is delicious, and to be honest, it is great on its own without all the extra things, but it's fun to see all different ways they can create a meal out of a hot dog. Also, look at how big that home wrecker dog is! Fills you up!The fries were good, and I was really looking forward to the chili cheese fries, but the chili part did let me down. It was more tomato than anything. The ice cream ? I got birthday cake, which is my favorite flavor, and it delivered. SO GOOD!I suggest going on a nice day that you can sit outside. They are tiny inside and not much seating on the inside, but they have a lot of picnic tables all around the building outside to sit. They were SUPER busy even on a Thursday evening during summertime, but they are very quick. I didn't mind standing in the line that went outside. They have menus posted on the wall when you 1st open the door. I suggest taking a picture and deciding while you wait to you know what you want when you get to the register.Pepsi products, so sorry Coke fans. They also have bottled water, bottled iced tea, and I got a bottle diet Dr pepper since I don't like Pepsi. You'll find something to drink. Will I visit again? Absolutely! With all those options, I need to try another.2 flame dog home wreckers, 1 large chili cheese fry, 2 scoop birthday cake ice came to about $35
