We had a super dinner after a long day of traveling. Reasonable prices. Crab cakes were delicious and perfectly accompanied by a tasty slaw. Burger and fries were also well above average. Very attentive to detail. Double checked with us on a dietary restriction. Very friendly chef chatted with us and made us feel very welcome as did rest of staff. Very good cab sauv and a sauv blanc. Ambience in the resto is very much like an inn. Wouldn't expect that in a bwh. Definitely recommend a visit, even if not a hotel guest.

Stopped eith a friend 5he week before Christmas. Was my first time back here in about 6 months. Only wine available was the Barefoot brand, which is a mediocre grocery store brand. No offense if you like it, but Skye used to have several offerings. According to the bartender, a new manager took over and is revamping the wine list. Hope he does so fast, we were not the only ones displeased. Bar tender was friendly and outgoing, appetizer was ok.

Poor food quality, over priced, and crap service. Ordered to take to my room in the Hotel, staff claimed they could not call when order was ready. I had to go back several times over the hour to check on order, and then return to get utensils. Meat was over cooked and leatherly, dry. The sprouts were under cooked, and mashed potatoes were cold. Disappointed. Threw it in the trash and ordered food else where. Staff didn't care about my dissatisfaction. Server proceeded to inform me that's how to braise meat, as if she knew. Dear Lord darling, Sigh...

My husband and I had the worst meal ever at Skye Bistro. His pork chop was dry and unappealing looking as well as the green beans which he never touched. The fish in my fish tacos were small overcooked leathery pieces. Our friends salmon was burned and she picked it apart. My husband was served a side salad which he thought came with his meal. The salad belonged to our friend. We got charged for the salad. We should have complained at the restaurant but the waitress was very unfriendly and only asked how everything was as she was walking by. She didn't even wait for our response.it appeared as if she was angry she had to wait on us. I think we should of paid my attention to the fact we were the only ones in the restaurant. We now know why. We will not be going back there.
