“I came here today from out of town with family. I ordered the protein bowl and requested no onions. Unbeknownst to my waitress, the veggies come pre-portioned and she didn’t know until it was ready to be served. Unfortunately, there were way too many onions for me and had to send it back. I was going to do without since everyone had been served but the kind and understanding waitstaff insisted it wasn’t any trouble if I got something else. I quickly settled on the biscuits and gravy which was great. I also appreciated how she recognized my young son several times. Not every waitress does that. Thank you!“

“Tried this place after stumbling on it searching for a new place to eat. I cannot say enough great things. Our party of 3 ordered Wonton nachos, the nann sandwich, and the jerk chicken mac’n cheese. They were all delicious. Not to mention they also have sweet P’s homemade popsicles. “This is a staple of my downtown work days. Good food and the proprietor is very friendly. He will offer recommendations and samples and is very warm and kind. That is sometimes enough to make my day. Old style service is hard to find. Food is good. I typically order the large Bourbon Chicken with half and half spicy rice and potatoes or red beans. Don't be dismayed that this is in the basement of Talbot Tower. It's a good choice! Support your local businesses and pay a visit!“

“We ordered Thanksgiving platters for our meal this year. My father is in a nursing home, and so picking up at curbside w as best for me. I got there early, but they put everything together and had it out to me in less than 5 minutes after I let them know I was outside. The food was absolutely incredible! I have never had a Thanksgiving meal as good as Bob Evans’. It was literally better than what we used to make at home. Seriously. It was fantastic and my father and I had a great time together.
