Taste of Belgium - Austin Landing offers a pleasant atmosphere with quick service and a nice, big, and open layout. The restaurant features unique benches in booths and a lovely outside patio, with a display of cheesecakes lined up in front of the bar. The menu includes traditional favorites like the breakfast platter, Buddha bowl, and mushroom crepe, as well as awesome food like the tuna appetizer. Mimosa flights are a hit, and there are GREAT beers. The staff is friendly and accommodating. For those with dietary restrictions, it would be beneficial to have a more visible allergy menu with more vegan and gluten-free choices available. The frites and dips are good, with curry ketchup being so good. The poutine is great to share. Happy hour runs Tuesday-Sunday from 3pm-9pm with $4 off appetizers and $2 off all bar drinks. They also offer all you can eat Mussels and Frites on Thursdays. It's a cool date night place and a great spot for brunch or lunch with fresh and well-seasoned food. Parking is ample in the large strip center.
