One of our favorite spots in town. Kimmy and Jose are amazing servers and bartenders. They create such a good, fun vibe. Food is always spot on. Prices are good too. You get a lot of food! If you’re on the fence or looking for a great experience I would suggest checking them out.

It's my girlfriend's favorite place.
El orito is our family go too restaurant. The food is always great and the entire staff is so welcoming and kind to us and our kids. Our usual server, Kim, always goes above and beyond for us and our kids absolutely love her. If you’re looking for the best Mexican food in or around Middleburg hts and a fun environment check this place out. Thank you for being such a great place for our family!

This was our first time at El Oritos for my mom's birthday and we had a lovely time. Service was good, very friendly, and they sang to Mom with a sombrero, and gave her a little ice cream treat to celebrate.
We got the ceviche as an app to split. It was good. Could have used a hair more salt, but very fresh. They serve it with butter crackers, which was a unique twist that surprisingly works well. I got the Street Tacos for dinner. Very good. My personal recommendation is to add cheese and pineapple and a squeeze of lime. Super tasty. I also like that they have an option to get plain white rice as a side. Chips and salsa are solid and they give each person their own dish of salsa.
Atmosphere is nice. Clean. Open. A good mix of tables and booths and is wheelchair friendly. Overall, I would definitely recommend and would return.

Oh boy was I extremely disappointed!!! The last time we were there it was pretty good, but this time the service was awful and the food was a rip-off including their cocktails that were diluted & pricey as all-get-out! (1 Daiquiris was $9.99 and get this: 2 Tequila was $32.00!!!!!)
It was Mother's Day and my daughter took me out to El Oritos in Middleburg Heights. We ordered two cocktails and mine I could barely taste the tequila.
The Seafood Fajitas for 2 ($32.99) only had 4 pieces of shrimp, 2 pieces of tiny scallops and a boatload of imitation crab that came within a heap of sauteed onions and even more of a heap of green peppers. We found 2 little tiny mushrooms and one slice of sauteed red pepper. I'm not joking! It was pitiful!!
When I asked for more salsa, I never got it. We ordered a bowl of cheese dip also ($5.99). When we ran out of chips, I asked for more and 10 minutes later I see our waiter (Jose) sitting in a booth, folding napkins and chatting with the bus boy. When he noticed I was looking at him, he brought the chips, but by that time the cheese dip went cold. It wasn't even busy, which I found unusual but quickly learned why.
When I asked for the check, he handed me this hand held electronic gizmo that only showed what tip I was going to leave (20%, 30%, 40% & 50%) so I asked him for a printout so I could see what I was paying for. The total bill for the above came out to $80.32. Then add in the $8 tip, which was generous considering. . .
All in all, we went there to create fond memories of Mother's Day 2026 and we left with our mouths dropped in shock of what we experienced.
Do yourself a favor and don't go there. El Rodeo up the street is so much better!!
We went to El Orito Tacos in Middleburg Heights for Cinco De Mayo and we had Jose for our server, he was great from the get go, always making sure we were taken care of, thanks Jose for making it a nice relaxing and fun meal!!!
I’ve gone every week for Taco Tuesday, the servers are so kind and sweet, and the food is always spot on!!! Chips and Salsa are good as well!

This is my family’s favorite restaurant! We would come here every day if we could. Everything about it is absolutely amazing. All the food that we have tried is great. The drinks are A++. All the workers are beyond sweet. Highly recommend the El Orito Fajita Nachos! We can’t go here without ordering them.

False advertising on the 1.50 tacos on tuesdays they will try and charge 50 cents per topping instead of the 25 cents as advertised and then try and ring up cilantro and onion as 2 toppings even tho its considered 1 topping on their menu.

Would not recommend, had the beef burrito rice and beans . The burrito and beans were EXTREMELY SALTY and the rice had an odd taste, maybe it was made a few days ago? The queso fundito was very watery... like a soup. Best thing we got was a bottle of coke . Service was poor. Honestly..Taco bell would have been a better choice !!
